Final Fight 2 Longplay (SNES) [60 FPS]: It might have the looks, but the gameplay in this sequel is disappointingly dull and best avoided! Read the video description for my review!
That is because objectively, Streets of Rage 2 is superior on every aspect, better animations, better music, more characters, the gameplay of every character is more unique, there's more levels with more enemies and both have more variety... and the list goes on. Not a single Final Fight in consoles lived up to their arcade father, with the only exeption of Final Fight CD. They are fun, but only a diehard fan of Beat'emups would get into them, the rest of the people only plays them for a couple of levels and gets bored after that.
@@igakoga2481 Yes there is objective facts in design and videogames, a polyhedron is more complex than a square and that's objectively true of it's design. Same as the fact that SoR2 is better on all aspects of it's design than the 16-bit console ports of Final Fight.
Not only this game boring and tiresome to play, but nothing new was added or improved. I don't even understand why they called this a sequel. And like you mentioned, it's extremely repetitive and it takes forever to kill enemies and bosses, even with weapons.
