Didn't understand at 1st but if I'm not mistaken an emperor calls war not the crown prince but he had to go to war. This was so jacked up even if she died long ago & he went mad the tragedy was horrible. Destiny & Fate are cruel to us we won't know till we die God, Buddha, or higher being in tge end the truth & reason why we lived will be told.

Sad ending. According to the movie scene, But knowingly - unknowingly Princess was confused between her 1 st love and 2nd love. She took wrong decision to attend the festival and everything got destroyed. Later I did not like the decision of Princess being rude to the 2nd Prince when he started truly loving her. At least can. Cooperate if cannot love, no need to provoke to die by rude conversations. Later on Princess without understanding made everyone/ people sad who were around her, loved her . Isn't it sad to see and hear that there are people who long, wait for someone to truly, love, care etc them. But people who get love, care, respect etc they don't value the love they get. Why it is very difficult to get love, to accept love, to understand love? Love is such a beautiful feeling. Why it becomes so difficult for some people to understand this simple beautiful peace? This ending alone never made much sense to me. We never discover if xio fang really did die or if she was in hiding like the prince said and then it ends with just a picture of him searching. I prefer the ending with those added clips of them waking up in modern times and it was all just a nightmare. To me that makes more sense
