FINAL FLIGHT: United Airlines last remaining 747 makes its final flight from SFO to Honolulu 

No other plane can look better than the Boeing 747. The 747 is a true masterpiece and does not deserve to be retired.

Already getting teary eyed. Gonna miss them

Sad~~ All the beautiful planes are gone the L10-11, DC-8, 727, 707, DC-10 and now the 747 is disappearing.

This plane(747) always fly to Hawaii everyday. I always see this beauty everyday. Great thing United started the 747 to Honolulu and ending it in Honolulu.

Pan Am was the first 747 to Honolulu, not United. United’s 747 service was delayed because of problems with production.

Lame that all US carriers bailed, but British Airways will use them till 2024!

I’ve been in the cockpit of one of them when I was in my early heydays! That was on my family trip to LA when I was four! Such a shame nothing like this is ever happening again, especially when the lightweight carbon fibre bodied counterparts replaces the fuel guzzling machines previously thought to be equipped for long haul routes for years to come!
