Final preparation for the McLaren 675LT Spider at Topaz Detailing before I'm going to be taking official handover and going for my first drive!
Prior to taking a car on the car where it risks getting stone chips and light damage we go through a full detailing process and ultimately an entire coverage of the car with Paint Protection Film. This is always a lengthy process but a fascinating one as the entirety of the body panels, carbon pieces and other components are coated in film to ensure they have best finish long term.
Here we take a look at the various stage covering the new car.

It's a business opportunity imo. It shouldn't be too expensive to cut out matching film for common cars. 50 $ maybe.

+FullHD1080p If price is ever a concern, you could just buy the film online and apply it yourself, eliminating the labour cost. Its the same with wrapping cars, you can always wrap it yourself. Its not that hard but very time consuming and you need certain tools. Plus you can see in the video how the film is applied.

The only thing I'd change on this car is the 675lt logos on the seats. I think if they were purple it'd help the exterior and interior speak to each other just a little more.

i dont see why they dont do this stuff standard, your paying hundreds of thousands for these nice cars yet they dont think to protect them properly, fair enough with something like a kia, but a mclaren they should do this anyway

They do. Shmee told McLaren not to do it because he was going to take it to Topaz regardless. PPF is optional on most supercars (Lambo,Ferrari,McLaren).

To get this color in GTA 5: 1. Go to LSC 2. Buy metallic color called "Bright purple" 3. Mix with pearlescent color "Lava red"

+Shmee150 I must admit, I was skeptical about the color choice. I didn't think purple would suit the car. But holy goodness that color is brilliant! I love the way the cerulean blue flakes make a pearlescent sort of finish on the car. The name really suits the color as well. It truly is a fantastic spec. Very happy for you, Tim!

When a car has PPF installed, are there any measures to protect the wheels? Obviously you can't put PPF on them, just wondering if they do anything?

Actually no, if you tried to put any film on them it would get destroyed by the speed of rotation. The only real solution is to refurbish them when they start to pick up stone chips or any kerbing of course.
