It's been a long time coming but finally my McLaren 675LT Spider has arrived! The Orion Purple truly looks awesome in person, I'm very pleased with how my spec has turned out. Hopefully you'll join me for some fairly epic adventures and content to come with this car!
Shmee's collection atm Aston martin GT8 AMG GTR Cayman GT4 Mclaren 675LT spider Ferrari FF Ford GT Ford Focus RS Mini cooper Meanwhile i'm still saving for a e46 M3.
dude don't buy M3 e46 rust so bad its unreal dude ! please take my advice I work for BMW and service many of these e46 and they all have same rust problems and electric faults and exhaust always fails !!! big money pit stay clear !! buy a 318 trust me !
In my Opinion : No ! Why ? There is already alot of satin black carbon around the car. Front, side and back. If he had also chosen stealth black wheels, it would have been too much. Imo i think the silver wheels look great on the car, better than black ones.
Kitebuggy I was thinking more of satin black wheels that match the carbon fiber front lip and side skirts. Think about how good orion purple brake calipers would look behind them.
+Sebastian B Rubbish.. If he's all that to matching, how can he spec silver wheels to silver calipers.. And to all the carbon pkg the stealth wheels would be million times better.
Exactly! Stealth wheels with those silver brake calipers would be a perfect contrast. The stealth wheels matches with the dark carbon parts of the car.
I think the wheels and interior fit very well. The bottom line is, it's his car and he doesn't need to give a shit about peoples unnecessary complaints.
+Diesel does things On darker cars i prefer lighter wheels as it creates more contrast sticking out more highlighting them. I think its a wonderful choice of someone with taste.
Beautiful car. I see quite a lot of comments about how black wheels would have looked better. But there are already many black carbon bits around the car. It would have been too much. Imo the silver wheels looks great and matches well with the interior.
Thomas Riddle I think black wheels would blend nicer with all the black parts of the car, but nobody asked our opinion : ) The color of the car is nIce
It's not my taste, but congrats on getting the car you wanted. I wonder if the resale is effected by having an outrageous color specification. Maybe not the overall value, but in finding a buyer who wants a purple car.
Certainly true. And I understand the appeal of having something truly customized that nobody else has. But, it has always been the case, with any car, that it is harder to resell something that is bright pink as opposed to black or red.
+Casey Weaver while pink is a special case, I'm sure that there'll be plenty of people who just want their hands on a 675LT spider, not really caring about the color.
If I could afford one I'd definitely pick purple over nuclear waste green or keep out of reach of children orange. The purple is distinctive and just as eye catching but it's far more classy in my eyes.
Came here after watching Mr JWWs rs6 collection video, really calm and professional video, 15 seconds into shmees video and his voice is already pissing me off
And I saw mr jwws 2nd video about his Audi and already noticed he plays gay music with random camera angles all the time, which is annoying. Different tastes I guess eh?
brilliant, at first I thought silver rims shit.....he messed up. Seeing the calipers and the seats made the whole package look superb. I dig the color a lot. Congrats on the new beauty! The collection continues to grow. I love how Schmee DRIVES his cars. They're meant to be driven and I love to see these rare cars on the road instead of covered in some collectors showroom. Bravo~
black wheels are ugly af...I don't know who started that trend...black wheels just look like dirty tires...chrome..aluminum..or silver is the only way to go...they compliment a car...black wheels compliment nothing...thyre just trendy and ugly.
That is a stunning car. It really doesn't do it justice until you see them in real life. They are outrageous! Congrats on the car, I'm sure you're super excited.
Since everyone else is giving opinions, I will add mine. I think the silver wheels are exactly what the car needs. The color of the car would wash out the black alloys badly. The silver creates just a right amount of flash! That said, I might have done something different on the calipers though. It's a beautiful car Tim. We are all looking forward to the adventures to come. Cheers from the USA...
Shmee, this car is BEAUTIFUL! For whatever reason, I've never thought that the non-P1 color options really set it off...until now. This. Color. Is. Perfect. Even on an iPhone, you can really tell your car really jumps out, but not in a loud, look-at-my-Lamborghini sort of way. That color paired with the silver treatments, and those wheels...and you have the perfect McLaren, sir. It's awesome, in a perfectly "somewhat understated" way. Great choice! Huge fan here! Best, Matthew
definitely the best looking McLaren...that colour and the wheels looks absolutely gorgeous....btw. love the Mini and Aston together and that Bmw Alpina
11:06 How does a new car with 8.5mi on it already have iron contamination in the paint and elsewhere? Regardless, I love the paint color! Great choice Shmee!
shmee...why dont you get 1 big car and 1 small car for day to day use...like you can only drive 1 car at once so having an amg gtr as well as an 675lt spider...just throwing it out there
He already has the Focus RS as his daily driver (and now the Shmini as well). As for one big car, well, why have one big car when you can afford several big cars!
TurbulanceMusic No, I can't drive more than one car at once. Neither can Shmee150. But you have to realize that he doesn't these buy cars for daily transportation/driving. He buys them to parade on RU-vid and show them off to the world thereby making money. To him, his cars are part of his business, his brand - Shmee150. He doesn't drive them all every day. He just shoots videos of each one at different times and posts the videos on RU-vid to entertain us and make some money. So, he doesn't have to have one small car and one big car. He will buy as many cars as he needs to achieve/fulfill his dreams/goals.
dude...that is the nicest 675LT ive ever seen...ofcourse ive only seen them on the internet...and the car is just not that attractive to me...but this one makes me reconsider the beauty of it...great job.
The spec of this car couldn't be any better! I'm in love with the colour, the silver wheels look incredible against the purple. DO not paint them stealth, every single person with a supercar out there has black wheels and it's getting too much.. The silver looks great! Well done and congrats.
I wasnt feeling it at first, but once you dropped the top and the slivers came out to play, it complemented the color of the car and drew it all together. I like.
That purple has to be one of the most beautiful car colors that I have ever seen. The purple with blue sparkles made my jaw drop several times. I have a carbon fiber obsession btw.
Congratulations shmee! That paint is most beautiful color! And I've seen a lot of paint growing up around cars and in bodyshops. I agree with the silver wheels. Everyone expects black or a dark color. I actually thought black would of been a better choice at first but now I like the silver more. It is good to be different. Have fun and be safe!
Its finally here! Purple is definitely a favourite colour and that shade is fantastic, really stunning colour. Personally not sold on the colour of the wheels, think I may have gone for a dark satin bronze kind of shade but each to their own. I hope you keep this one permanently!
The color is much better than I would have imagined, purple is not a color one thinks of for a car (or boat or plane). I like it so much I think I would have the front winglets & side air intake Orion purple as well. Good choice, well done.
Nice to see bright silver alloys - they look excellent and nice contrast to the colour - and in fact the colour looks better for it too. Looks so much better than the too-long-running fad for dark wheels.
I wasn't a big fan of the colour when it was announced but now that we can see it in person I can see why you chose it. phenomenal car! congratulations you deserve it.
That is SICK!! Congratulations. And to be perfectly honest, this colour,or rather this colour in addition to silver wheels looks better than the coupe i have to say. Absolutly spectacular!!
No RU-vidr deserves this and an incoming GT more than you, Tim. Never met you bc USA, but you seem like the nicest and most genuine guy, and it's great watching you succeed.
