@@casablanca_lady im sorry i have to say she didn't really hit the question. she was almost there but the thought is like 70%. The question was what can be done about the lack of jobs of young people starting their careers around the world. She answered it with investing in education. The question was tricky but if understood, the woman who gave the question assumed that the young people have finished their education already and she's asking what should be done in order for them to land into better jobs and career. Answers they might be looking for would be... Young people should have patience. They have invested already in education and this time it's a matter of pursuing your dreams because these people have diplomas to present already as a proof that they really went through the right process and that it should be a ticket for them to land into their desired career. They should remain hopeful and determined in order to get the job they are looking for and should have the inspiration in the pursuit of reaching their dreams.

Rosti Nogray Filipinos have a different way of speaking English compared to the other English speaking countries. Because their used to including Tagalog. It comes off kind of rough. This is just how I see it along with Gazini

It's Miss Universe not Miss English Speaker. The point of the competition is to show the differences of culture, language, and beauty around the world. it would be boring if all candidates look and speak the same language.

That doesn’t have to do anything with being Miss Universe

Being Miss Universe is not about speaking a specific language as Janine Tugonon famously replied in MU 2012.

What if the competition was to be held in French language instead of English? Does the French speaker deserve the crown more??? The competition just happens to be in English because it’s the most popular language, this shouldn’t affect their evaluations.

Look this is a beauty pageant. The question portion probably comprises 10% of the criteria? Having said that yes the Venezuelan answer was not an answer! Now let us not pretend that the Philippine candidate nailed that question as some of you assume. She did not. She said more than the venezuelan. I don't know if that is any advantage.

Gabriela deserved the crown. Ariella may had a better answer but Gabriela won because of her attitude. She was known to be one of the most down to earth Miss Universe winners(along with Olivia and Iris) according to the MUO staff. She still do charity Works up until now inside and outside her country, she's a true queen. That was also the reason why Olivia won in 2012 eventhough Janine gave a better answer.
