I’m an Adelaidean and to see world class golfers on home soil at The Grange was incredible, the atmosphere, the fans, the golf, the weather, the music, amazing, and the watering hole was something else, big Thankyou to all the volunteers too, trying to keep the crowds under control & great to see so many younger fans enjoying it too, Thankyou Greg Norman & the SA govt.
The Watering Hole sure lived up to it's name! What a celebration for an hole in one! Well done Chase Koepka. The Aussie sports fans are on a whole other level! Cheers from Canada!
LIV golf is so much more FUN to WATCH than the concurrent PGA and even LPGA golf. Biggest issue for me is the PGA and LPGA announcers are CONSTANTLY analyizing the players' swings and what's wrong with this or that swing. and they NEVER STOPP TALKING. LIV announcers, David Ferehy espeically, just add appropriate comments along with HUMOR and "quips" that add to the fun and excietement of watching ordinary people enjoy golf for a change, and the players are having a great time too. Thank God I took the chance to watch. Retired carpenter, life-long golfer, Long LIve LIV Golf!! Go PHIL!!!
Adelaide! Australia! Aussies! You know how to do it right!!!! What an amazing event from top to bottom, with all the thrills and all the noise!!!! Fantastic!!!! MAGISTERIAL!!!!!
The AUSSIES sure know how to bring out an amazing vibe...not even the Phoenix Open's vibe could compare...great golf was played all round along with the attendant vibe from the fans. This was by far THE BEST LIV weekend since the inception...nice one AUSSIES🙌🏿 From South Africa😉
BEST sporting event I have watched on TV, non stop birdies ,amazing crowd and golf course. Even commentators where speechless. PLEASE more LIV in Australia.
No you didn't wake up watching Liv. You would have had find out what channels it's on first, so don't make out there on the same channel, this tournament was only well supported in Australia cos there ain't any other golf over there, true golf fans will stick with 4 rounds.
@@soothsayerbh1038 Yeah Rather watch 4 rounds of boring as bat shit golf than 3 rounds of exciting golf You’re dreaming mate True golf fans are streaming liv Old codgers who hate change are sleeping through pga
was there today and I can say was epic!! players and fans interacting all just having a blast watching some of the world's best players. next year plane to go to all 3 days. you can tell Phil Mickelson loved the energy we all bought!!
@@tdawg774 According to your comment, PGA also sucks as they are copying LIV with increased prize money events. And you are old fossil living in the last century resisting party with golf. LMAO HA HA HA
LIV Adelaide was unreal and the Aussies really set the bar high, it even made The Phoenix Open look tame in comparison 😅 The hole in 1 from Koepka was the peak of the chaos
Americans are too washed up & woke to upstage the Aussies. No offence. Even us Canadians cannot match the energy level that a Aussie sporting event brings to the table
In fairness I think you guys have enough access to golf with USA events. The best thing for you guys to do is turn up to those events and really help get this thing going. I travelled interstate to Adelaide and it was well worth it.
This was a great production and tournament. Best ever!! Keep it up, make PGA envy your tournaments and increase attendance in both on site and viewers via media
@@riggz5496 We famously are not, the Thunder is the loudest arena in the NBA usually (KD days) college football is a menace, and a similar culture to us KC, Arrowhead stadium is beyond loud...Every Liv event needs a stadium hole! I was in the birdie shack on 9 and I hear myself in most of the roars lol, but thats sad I can pick myself out!
THIS IS LIV! Watching the happy fat guy with no shirt on tee off onto the patio and calling it magical illustrates the comment Phil put into words: there will always be a desire to have traditional golf and it's OK for LIV to be an additive. Koepka's hole in one was awesome and the fans rightfully showed their enthusiasm for a great shot. Looks like LIV has found their fan base.
There must be guys on the PGA Tour who were around the same level as Pat or slightly higher, wishing to God they took the LIV offer when they had the chance lol
Not super impressed by the cup n beers throwing on good shots, but when you can wear shorts, drink from a shoe, and have an easier scoring day to boot.. I am here for that. Good vid. Will watch more live and on RU-vid.
I'm right there along with you. I must say I'm also not a fan of the blaring music on the background. But the more loose and relaxed environment is what I feel is bringing out the best in these players.
Great Sunday afternoon with LIV Golf! I have caught Sunday of the last two tournaments and now understanding LIV and really digging it. Now I just need to get my hands on some merch from Bubba and Team Range Goat!
@@washredskin887 Pull your head out of the sand and watch, you might be surprised. Adelaide was the best Golf Tournament this year Except for the Masters by far.
@@washredskin887They actually sold out of tickets 6 months before the tournament started. 50% of tickets were sold to people from interstate or overseas, so I'm quite certain there is a demand for it here is Australia.
The excitement level for LIV is like no other golf! The 12th hole here is like the 16th at the PHOENIX OPEN but the TEAM golf makes LIV so much more exciting! I smell a merger now don't you? Actually though the PGA needs the LIV more than the other way around!
I love the format and the golf itself. Very happy to be able to watch on The CW. I don't even mind the cheering and jeering on some holes, but I could definitely do without the music. I know a lot of people like music when they play; my wife and I have unfortunately been subjected to that type of inconsiderate behavior on some courses. The peace and beauty of a golf course is what I believe 'most people' prefer when they go out to play.
LIV golf is a great anecdote for golf without Tiger healthy! It lets golfers be themselves, and brings out their best golf!! Incredible to watch... LIV brought golf back to LIFE👍👍🤜💥
Amazing event, full of highlights and how smooth and true were the greens, the ball never bounced or bobbled. Yes needs 2 events in Aus one first week of April and then 3 weeks later. Gives players a chance to stay and see Australia and play 2 amazing courses.
Great tournament, gentlemen. The only thing is, out of a $4 million first place prize, Gooch had almost 45% taxes withheld due to the tournament being in Australia....that's a tremendous hit, no matter how you slice it!! No wonder there aren't many more tournaments there.
@@washredskin887 I must disagree with you there. Your forgetting 2 key elements as to why those other "rogue" tournaments died... They didn't have as much publicity along with social media in play. LIV is only in its infancy and look at its growth. Noticed all the fans there? 💰💰💰💰 ⛳🏌️♂️
They should play at Metropolitan next year. It'll be a bloodbath lol. I love to watch high scoring but I also equally enjoy the world's best players being made to feel like I do every time I go out.
I'm preferring exciting LIV golf to the boring 4 day PGA tour, LIV Golf is so much more fun, the players are fresher with it being a 3 day event, so many birdies, it's exciring and fresh
