Marc SUmmers co-produced this show, which aired in the 1993-94 season. It was a little anticlimactic to win $5K in the maingame, and then win $1K in prizes or so in the bonus round. This final round is quite like the COuntdown Round on Split Second back in the 70s and 80s.
This was quite a fun show for me to watch. Marc (who seemed to be on EVERY game show I watched as a child) was as brilliant here as he was on Double Dare and What Would You Do and still is on shows like Unwrapped. I even liked Pick Your Brain's theme music.

This thing was barely on the air. It only aired one day a week and it was Sunday mornings where I lived. I still remember it though. I've heard that goofy sounding announcer the past few weeks doing commercials for kid toys. He still sounds exactly the same.
aww man where was this one i was in the 1990s decade. i still have the toy robot 2xl and some tapes with it. on top of. finding out i have mild to light autism even at 27 years old. the one thing i enjoyed most of that robot toy 2xl was the wacky sounds were enjoyable and th laugher. heck i miss the computer dial up motem sounds from the1990s. im just one for noise like those on the robot toy 2xl. i was one on a shelf at a antique mall on display the tapes were shot but the robot toy 2xl still in good shape after all these years. my mom gave one to the neighbor for her kids with the tapes and. she tossed it in the trash can. a week later. can not believe it. not to mention toy award of the year 1993. this was made from1993 to 1994 last one on the shelf at any toy store like toys r us and kmart. so many years.
I remember this Game Show, I watched it every Saturday Morning on KLFY-TV 10 Lafayette, LA right after CBS Saturday Mornings This was Hosted and Produced by Marc Summers and Rysher Entertainment Distributors of George & Alana, Thunder in Paradise with Hulk Hogan, and syndicated reruns of Saved By the Bell, Saved By the Bell: The College Years, California Dreams (before Tribune Entertainment tookover) and USA High on USA Network
Believe it or not, I never ever watched this show as a child despite being in the third grade at the time (and enjoying What Would You Do?/GUTS/Legends/Double Dare reruns on Nick). It's a pretty decent show, with a Countdown Round (Split Second)-style climax to the main game. I'd just wish that the bonus round was a bit more creative in addition to being anticlimatic. A multiple choice-style bonus where the player presses one of the robot's buttons would have been much cooler, and I would have awarded the prize as a bonus for answering a secret question on the front game, the winnings on the front game as cash (with $500 awarded in addition to what was won leading up to the final round), with the $5,000 scholarship the bonus round prize.
That final round seems awfully familiar... Reminds me of the Countdown Round from Split Second. (1st place answers 4 questions, 2nd place answers 5, 3rd answers 6, winner goes on to play for the car.)
I remember this show. It was real fun to watch. Unfortunately, I think it only lasted one season. In Dallas-Ft. Worth I'm 99% certain it came on the FOX affiliate KDAF 33 in the early morning on Saturday.
RIchard S. KLine was directing a game show for another company, interesting. Though IIRC Kline and Friends didn't have any shows on the air in 1993-94. Bill Carruthers directed Whew, Trump Card, and Cosby You Bet Your Life IIRC, despite having his own production company.
