@@zackyep I know that. Nice to see NHL players back and if we win with NHL players someday I'll be even more proud of the team than this 2022 team. It's not the same to win without NHL players, but on paper, it still is a Olympic gold.
Being from Vancouver and getting to see 2010’s gold medal game in person, it was one of the most special moments in this countries history. Every true Canadian remembers where they were on that day
@@ThePuckPlace Knowing Bettman, I'll believe NHL players are back at the Olympics when I see them on the ice and the puck has dropped on the first game. It wouldn't surprise me if he decided at the literal last second that "nope, I'm pulling my players back!"
I suppose that Finnish victory is the most important since it was the first time winning Gold for them. But 1980 for the US and 2010 for Canada have to be the most thrilling.
As a Canadian, I am actually worried becaise of our goaltending. We went from Brodeur and Roy, to Luongo and Price, to ???. Really hoping we have someone breakout by 2026 cuz our goalie situation looks bleak compared to the competition.
@@justinowen9526 canadian goalies has won more than finnish, swedish or american goalies. Binnington 2019 Stanley Cup, Hill 2023 Stanley Cup and Skinner 2024 Finals Game 7. Tell me how it is weak? Canada has winningest goalkeeper culture and best mentality. Huge advantage
@@Markkanen340k And you'd take any one of those guys over the competition's goaltenders such as Helleybuck, Swayman, Otteinger, Vasilevsky, Saros, Ullmark, Bobrovsky?
for me, as a Russian, 2018 was a fairy tale. Victory at the Olympics, football World Cup. I will never forget matches with Germany in hockey and with Spain in football
