Final Week of British Army Infantry Basic Training. Live Firing.
The final part of the Civilian To Soldier series. Live Fire Tactical Training (LFTT)
A busy week of attacks with live rounds, machine guns and grenades that tests the recruits skills and drills. Everything they have learnt throughout the 6 month course is put into practice.
Once complete, they have Passed Out as trained Infantry soldiers and are set to join their units in the Field Army - well done to all. A monumental achievement.

My lad passed out from Catterick 2 years ago I know how hard he grafted to earn it, it made a man out of him it was a honor to see him & all the lads pass out verry proud moment you all worked hard guys well done 👏 👏👍

Unbelievable, this series has been a godsend. An ideal insight into how things are done during basic! I'm sad to see this series come to an end however I'm even more excited to start my own infantry journey in becoming a Rifleman. @djrxp - Looking forward to whatever it is you do next and I can only hope that I have someone like yourself overseeing my training. excellent fuckin job sir.

Now there are Combat Infantrymen💂🏻‍♂️From Day 1 week 1 to the end. It's a good series for young lads and 💂🏼‍♀️ thinking of joining Infantry. Battle Camp at the end👏🏻👍🏻

The American army can't do flexible fire lanes they end up shooting eachother. They are shocking compared too the lads there. They have come on well, upto battalion time too learn again as a crow bag

Also I don't remember there being an OBSTACTLE COURSE. For me that would be the number one reason to join the army. It was implied on TV there would be an epic obstacle course during army training. Is there actually NOT one??!?

would be a good idea to start doing some kit content, what kit is best for whwn you hit BTN what kit works what don't soon enough you will start getting sample kit to review off kit suppliers also as the CIC is finished kind of works well with the follow on videos!! Luv the content so far been a good watch

This has been very enlightening. I was very concerned about the high level of fitness that the average soldier possesses, but everything else nullifies that, so phew! They are trained under unrealistic conditions to fight enemies that use the same weapons as them. Oops!

Planning to go into officer training at the end of my degree, what levels of fitness should we be up to by then? i have 2 years to work on it. plus these are a great insight into what training will be like

Just overall be in good shape. For some figures I'd recommend as minimum - press ups, 30. Pull ups 5. 2km run time, 8:30. 5km run time, 25 minutes. 10km run time 55 minutes. If youre hitting all of those you'll be in good stead to start training, but the fitter you are the better, so try and get well past those numbers

It’s infantry training so they will all go to different infantry units once completed

@@freddiewhittaker8844 ITC is where they're based but I don't think the Catterick Training Area has LFTT lanes so it's likely either Warcop or Otterburn. Might be wrong though

This is my question. As infantry soldiers i guess intense martial arts will be part of your training but I haven't seen any martial arts training in your videos. Is it that British army doesn't teach martial arts at all or maybe it is taught later on. And also are you an instructor or you are part of the recruits?

The army doesn’t teach hand to hand combat, that’s only the Royal Marines

Only the marines teach that? Then that's not fair enough. All infantry soldiers must know intense martial arts. It's a necessity

@@lanketmusic7371 because the marines are the ones who go on stealth type missions, where hand to hand combat might be needed. I might be wrong and the paras might teach it but I’m sure most infantry don’t apart from maybe some basic self defence lessons during PT
