We are going to be using the excavator to do a final clean up on the property before returning it. Not much else to do other than carrying some limbs back to the burn pile and pull up a few small trees.

Nice. I still think you should sift, sort, and terraform. You can build a box frame from 2×4s and lay out chicken wire on it.. Staple down all over so wire is secure (heavy duty roofing staples) and then lay another frame on it and screw them together. This is your largest grade classifier in the system. As you make another, once the first layer of chicken wire is secured, lay another sheet of it on top of that, offsetting it to cut the squares in half. Then secure that and screw in frame. Keep going on making them (should only need maybe 3 total classifiers) until you have the final stage just passing dirt ( pea gravel should be sorted by the previous stage) and now, sort it all. Dig that whole clearing down at least 3 feet, as long as there is no piping of any kind down there, and sort it all into piles. Spread largest rock on the bottom and fill in with gradually finer grade materials until everything is back in place and "together". Gently wet the property, a nice rain is best but if there is no rain then get a water truck. Let the land settle and dry, then wet it again. After a 2nd settling, there should be no more noticeable impact. Congratulations. You are now able to do literally whatever you want on there. Wanna build a large building? It can handle that. Want a nice little cottage style 2-story home with yard/garden/pool and spa... the works......? Got it covered. Literally, anything you want to do, the ground will be prepped and ready to go.

Beautiful soil... will make a wonderful garden, especially with the prospect of a shallow well in addition to the city water. Looks well drained, too!

Your going to miss your toy when it's gone!! LOL. But you did an awesome job with it! You may find that missing tooth in the fire after it burns down.

Thanks Mike. I have something I am going to introduce in an upcoming video that will help me get by until I can rent it again. They didn't charge me for the tooth, so it's not a big deal. I'm sure I'll stumble across it sometime in the future.

I put my excavator operators through an osteopath once a month. You probably know first hand how teste your body gets in there at times! And correct, larger plant moves a lot slower and more fluid 👍

Are you planning to seed grass on most of the cleared area? Or will you have a large part as a gravel lot?

Part of it will be a garden and another part fruit trees. There will eventually be a building in one small spot and a place for us to hang out when the family comes out. I'm sure we'll plant grass out there in some places as well.

Does anyone know if there is a control pattern switch valve on the 75g? Can’t seem to find one on our machine

If you mean a switch to go from backhoe to SAE style controls the answer is yes. I'm pretty sure the switch is underneath the seat. You have to unlock the box with a key to access it.
