Yeah that's fine. Drop D and capo on the second fret is fine. It's what I do and it's pretty much the same thing. (Although in the video the capo is on the third fret because my guitar was tuned a half step down.)

By the way man I think you should know the tabs in the link no longer match what you played (atleast my observations)

Redfrog101 Good eye :) There might actually be a few reasons for that. First, I usually play electric guitar in half step down tuning, and I was too lazy to tune it up at the time of recording. So I just put the capo in the third position rather than the second position. (The tab actually instructs the player to tune all the strings up two semitones, but I get uncomfortable about tuning my strings up.) The second reason is that I made a couple adjustments to the fingerings, just to give it a slightly different tone. But by and large, all the notes are the same as the tab. For example, the first two notes in the first measure in the tab are 0 2 (A and B). It's the same pair when I play 5 7 one string up (A and B). I just liked the way mine sounded, and I think the tone is closer to the original Elfman version. Third, I adjusted the fingerings to make it easier for me to play. At the end of measure 29, I play 7 8 10 instead of 7 8 5 because it was easier to move to the chord in the next measure. Again, the vast majority of the notes are the same, just in different positions. Did that answer your concern?
