I'd say make it 100 credits. No item unlocks, and mode can only be done after obtaining finished gun. People have well over a thousand when playing after unlocking everything and that would make it more of a sometimes food

Rainbow mode was my lifesaver for the rat & old king. I was getting so annoyed going to them with a mediocre run and then dying because I didn’t know the patterns with them. Few OP rainbow runs later and I was confident enough to take them on in normal runs. I love the grind but without rainbow mode it would’ve been too much

I feel raibow mode is better the newer you are to the game, the more experienced you become, you start appreciating normal runs overall and even realize they can become way more op than rainbow ones ^^

I used to casually speedrun gungeon, use to do it a bit more for a challange of seeing how fast I could go without rerolling. Dont get how people grind for top times but to each their own.

super late on this but lich eye bullets count as one of the 4 items towards the rat transformation, so you need elimentaler plus any combo of 2 of the other rat items to activate the synergy, same with the beholster six-gun synergy

Idea for a modded active: Junkinator: one time use, reduce the max ammo of all your weapons by 50%, give you junks equal to the number of weapons that got junkinated

Lords of the Jammed spawned in the console behave differently to ones that appear naturally. Spawned Lords, while they still have infinite health, can be hit by bullets, given status effects, transmogrified into chickens, and counted as normal enemies. It's weird.

In this episode: Reto breaks the frame rate, starts with the weapon that started this series off, has a rainbow cannon, visits every floor, and then does it all again. That is what I believe to be a simple yet true summary of this episode.

Hey Reto, I just want to say thank you for this series, I've watched just about every episode of the beat the Gungeon series. I only recently got Gungeon and this series made me love the game so much more, there's just so much charm in the game and if it weren't for you I wouldn't know a lot about what makes this game absolutely great. If I'm being honest I probably won't watch any other series of yours unless it really peaks my interest or I own the game myself, but I want to say that your commentary is absolutely top tier, and your sense of humour matches mine so well, I just find you so entertaining! I really think your so criminally underrated. I've just started your mod the Gungeon serious and the farewell to arms series before this one, and I'm loving it.

Before I started watching this series I had put about 70 hours into Enter the Gungeon and never got past floor 4. Since watching I have beaten almost everybody's past (hopefully I will get the stupid pilot and his stupid starter gun's past in the next couple of days)!!!

And I know that it probably doesn’t interest anyone, but I just played a rainbow mode without mod the gungeon, and I found an extra rainbow chest (my first one) in the chest room!!! I didn’t know that you just get all of the items, but it was my first robot run after I unlocked it, and it was a fantastic first run^^ just needed to share...

For every reference, every joke, every synergy weapon in this game, and what an awesome game it is, I have one single complaint. How did no one ever think to make some kind of finger gun? Nothing in the base game, or either of the two massive content updates that even makes a reference in an Ammonomicon entry. Maybe they thought it was a little too on-the-nose, or that the joke had been made before, but dammit they missed a golden opportunity.

You've come so far man, and this whole series is a testament to that. You've cleared this game completely start to finish without dying once! If that isn't a show of dominance over this brutal game I don't know what is.

if you have fat bullets and throw a gun (not drop it.) Then the gun gets SUPERSIZED. I did this with the vulcan cannon once, I also had scattershot and helix bullets, so it was funny.

Idea - R&G Monitor - A quality - Active Item - Long Recharge Description - Radical, Dude! (A reference to surfing the web, and surfing often being associated with similar slang) - A strange, old, and fairly dusty computer. When used, it will look up a random gun of a lower quality, and switch it with the one you are having. Synergies: *Surfs up!*: When the player is holding Directional Pad, changes the look to WASD keys, and increases damage and fire rate. Dodge Rolling spit water in your wake. *Series of Tubes*: If the player is has Brick Breaker, changes Brick Breakers' look to a Warp Pipe from Super Mario. The shells turn blue and home in on enemies. *Much Synergy*: If the Player has Dog, it will attack enemies dealing about the equivalent of the first sword swipe of junkan, increases the drop rate of technology themed items and lower case r.

You should make it like a one-use active item. Those can have synergies too (ex. Orange). Plus, having it be a rechargeable active item is kinda op when combined with the mechanic it has.

One time, a i got rainbow chest to spawn naturally on a rainbow run, and so i was able to keep all the 8 items it dropped along with the items i already had.
