Regardless of the places, one I hope we can agree on; that even to day (Zenkaiger) Toei still uses live-action for the mecha fights. Instead of CGI (I mean aside of the later transformation, finisher, etc. scenes). *And that's a good thing!* -LOOKING AT YOU 1995 MMPR MOVIE!!!!!-
Getting Showa-era sentai robo in the top list is quite surprising (bio robo and great five). Very few younger people appreciate their design. In the Philippines, Bio robo and Great Five are very iconic sentai robos during the early 90s era.
Fun fact: Bio Robo could have been the first Power Rangers Megazord, since Bioman was the basis for Saban's original Power Rangers pilot episode. Fortunately (or unfortunately if you prefer Bio Robo over Daizyuzin) by the time the idea of adapting Sentai into an English language show was given the green-light, the footage from Bio Man was noticeably low-fi compared to the more recent Zyuranger.
Kishiryuoh was my gateway into sentai. I was solely a Rider fan thinking “Ugh Sentai is for the younger fans” (that was such a stupid way of thinking). But seeing that suit in action made me give Sentai a try and now I’m way more into Sentai then Kamen Rider at times.
Galaxy Mega is easily Number One in my book. For me, Sentai Robot designs very much peaked in the 90's. Recent ones suffer from being too overloaded with multiple combinations and gimmicks.
@Obadiah Abilio Oficial or not, is still a Sentai. Also, that's why i ask him as an Extra. And i'm pretty sure Akibaranger is still more oficial than Dino Force Brave, whose robot he ranked on Part 2.
@Obadiah Abilio i can agree Akibaranger's robot Is quite ugly, but my question was mostly because the channel has an admited bias towards Red, so i was really wondering if his Red bias would make it cut some lack on the robot design or not.
My number one will always be titan megazord because it's clean design and my favourite followed with the thundersaurus megazord number two and wild force megazord at following at number three
The light speed megazord/ victory Robo gets some biased points for me because lightspeed rescue was my first Power Rangers season that I got to binge watch via Netflix. And that’s the season I am most bummed about that Netflix took away. Contract deals I guess. Also I kind of like how the teamwork aspect of Power Rangers transfers over to the combination.
I really want a DX thundersaurus megazord. I just thought of How it has an on off switch as the shoulder, and I really want one. Also, I really like electronics in Power Rangers and super sentai robots. That’s why I have a Lupin/Pat Kaiser and Zenkaioh JuraGaon.
I'm going to only count the ones that appeared in pr and super sentai shows I've seem from last to best (going to say the pr names if they have one): Thunder megazord High Octane megazord Astro megazord Dino megazord Time Force megazord Thundersaurus megazord Lupin kaiser Zeo megazord Delta Squad megazord Ninja megazord Lightspeed megazord Wild Force megazord Titan megazord Beast X megazord Drive Max megazord Legendary megazord Samurai megazord Storm megazord Turbo megazord Pat kaiser Gosei Great megazord Jungle Pride megazord Dino Charge megazord Dino Fury megazord KyurenOh Galaxy megazord
In my ranking I'll put Galaxy Mega in no.1 and Kishiryu Neptune in no.13. I'll put ZenkaiOh in no.9 and Magiking in no.19, and Liverobo in no. 7 and Great Five in no. 22.
I'm really not a fan of Kirameijin because, for one, a whole zord is just a sword, and the race car is just the head, yet it's so large. 4/6 of the body is just the fire truck. Even with boukenger being the chest and legs, at least the arms are separate. It just irks me.
In my opinion the best is gokaiger gattai but luapinranger and patoranger gattai is cool to and engine oh too i dont say that be cause the 3seson is my favret seson juste the gattai are cool
I kinda can't really take this too seriously... When one can pronounce "Kitameizin" and "Kyoryuzin" the exact OPPOSITE of each other, despite them being pronounced the exact SAME in their respective series, with the "-ZIN" at the end being pronounced "JIN". But hey, you do you, I guess.
