I can't believe what happened. I love this song so much. It was the best song of this competition. I've always trusted the Swedish people that they choose the right song... Now I don't know any more.
@JonaasK vem bryr sig om var personen som framträder kommer ifrån. Hur många andra exempel finns det inte i melodifestivalens historia med utländska sångare/sångerskor. Hela tävlingen går ut på gemenskap, inte någon form av nationalism.

It's not the first time my favorite didn't win Melodifestivalen, but it's the first time it came last... I feel a bit speechless right now. It's not easy to write a comment at the moment. This is such a beautiful song, and Dotter's voice has such character, and this song and performance is so emotional. But I guess what I heard and felt listening to this, wasn't what the majority heard and felt, and I just have to accept that.
Swedes are honestly so cucked man. I love that they're so open and supportive about uplifting others but sending an english radio song by 2 Norwegians rather a swedish dong by a Swede whose already come close twice...why are they so prideful of their country yet so hesitant in any pride in their own language pr representtion. Another country like Italy would never send any song not in their language - let alone a non italian
This was amazing, I am so sad for Dotter, she did NOT deserve that result at all Dotter we love you, we love your songs and your discography and we will always support you I am sure, before or later, it will be Dotter time to shine in Eurovision

I'm swedish and i voted for maria and dotter but i still feel like it's my bad this happened. It's a top 2 biggest crimes i've ever seen in melfest (together with statements by Loreen not even making it to the final when it would've been an easy top 5 at esc)

But last, really Sweden?, to be honest I'm not surprised of a country that already didn't let her win in 2020 with the best performance of the whole melfest history, but this being 12th/12th is absolutely a crime. I was shocked. Went to see her perform at Mall of Scandinavia a few days before the finale and she had so many fans there. I got the impression that she would win the whole thing after that.

The jury & public result for Dotter is quite shocking, but I hope that Dotter will return in 2025, with a song that will surprise as much as "Bulletproof" and will finally allow her to win her place at Eurovision! Sweden really needs to give her a chance one day, because she really deserves it !! A performance like that is worthy of a major winner's performance, so I totally agree with all the comments I read that disapprove of this last place..

Unfortunately it's not this year that Dotter will finally get the deserved right to be on the Eurovision stage, as the great artist she is. Will she ever return? I would love to see her again and again, but after all the good songs she gave us, what else does she needs to do to finally win?

Im still disappointed she ended last. All her entries have quality. Unfortunately Sweden just couldn't connect with her creative mind. I really feel that she & Dino should try other National Selections. Spread their wings. Maybe UMK or MGP, either Norway or Denmark. They will have more chances of winning than in Melfest. Provided they want to compete again.

Certainly it was great to rediscover Dotter.. I am and I will come back to this delivery of the song and to the singer every now and then for inspiration. It's what Eurovision is all about, discovering artists and languages you wouldn't otherwise hear of. PS, that motion of her fingers in the air with the animation at one point was brilliant, yes like Mans in "Heroes", but still a classic rendition.
Considering that Sweden doesn't value her for what she's worth, I'd love to have her represent Bosnia once we return to the contest. I mean, her partner and co-writer has Bosnian roots, so that's something. 🤷🏻♂️

I think many thought it was too similar to Tattoo by Loreen so they didn't bother to vote for her (either by calls or not that high in the app) and also thought that she would get votes from other people. Just to clarify, I gave 9 hearts to her and 2 to Marcus & Martinus. I wanted her to be in the top 3 but now this happened and I can't accept it. 💔
I don't get how people can say she is copying. Then you can basically say that any specific genre or gesture is copying another I mean it all comes down to evolution and how we all adopt different things and make it our own. I myself *love* Loreen i still remember being a kid and being amazed her performing Euphoria but I also very much love Dotter and this song. Loreen maybe stood out by being one of the first to showcase her style of music/performance but I'm sure she certainly won't be the last
But is not same as Loreen, they are diferents songs, the voices are diferents, Loreen is more mistical, this is a Ballad and Loreen is more like Frozen of Madonna. We can't compare because are diferent songs, Dotter use lights from Bulletproof and Loreen don't
