I do, but touchless only. I work where there's a lot of falling rock grit near several cement and asphalt plants so my car is constantly coated in dirt and limestone dust that falls on it all day. If it rains, the limestone dust leaves terrible water spots unless the rain is strong enough to fully flush the car of dust. If it doesn't rain my car is covered in sharp highly abrasive grit. BC1 certainly helps but I don't think anything will actually keep my car clean in that environment. Oh and I'm near a rail yard so I'm getting iron fall out too. I run through the touchless then douse the car with a mix of UWW+/ONR and use the plushest highest pile microfiber I can find to wipe it down. It's time to get some CarPro reset, the BC1 is getting a bit clogged after 6 months.
Ever since I started detailing in 2018 no more tunnel washes. It gives me a grin when I see a customer’s vehicle with the unlimited pass in their window as I am polishing!!😅
My mom goes to an automatic car wash and she has had several pieces of plastic trim ripped off of her vehicle which is in good condition otherwise. She was furious and went back to he carwash and they had a whole pile of trim pieces from the months they have been open. They told her she could pick from to see if hers was there! 😂 Crazy
I think that cadillac looks amazing!! Both in style & shine. U better believe im getting blue collar.7 💙 the blue collar line is nothing short of outstanding!! 👍🏼 🇨🇦
I use BC 7 on vehicles here in Michigan. It’s the only coating I’ve found that holds up to the extreme Brine & Salts on our roadways. It’s a no brainer for us
I've done two vehicles with BC7. Very easy to apply. Working time for me because of the humidity was longer than expected. I will say coating light color vehicles is much harder than dark color vehicles. I will be using BC7 on another one of my vehicles, that's how much I like this coating.
Was thinking what the shop manager made of that car wash…. Love your content by far the best ! Being from the UK we have more scratch and shine washes here run by the immigrant community … less and less tunnel washes now.
i didn’t use Blue Collar however i did use another brand and that stuff works as advertised. I presume they’re basically the same. it applied exactly as this gentleman said and it’s still holding up beautifully.
Great video Brian, i cringe when i see people lined up at those types of washes. Your coating held up really well. My previous ride i was using automatic touchless washes but my current vehicle have only ever bucket washed.
I used the car wash on my daily not my Camaro.Excellent video Brian 💎Your Blue Collar line is fantastic. I will definitely be applying Blue Collar 7 on my Camaro soon
The new express washes have neoprene brushes and they dont swirl up your paint like the soft cloth brushes like before. What you DON'T want to do tho is dry the vehicle right after the express wash with a dry towel. Always use a quick detailer as a drying aid. It's the drying that causes post wash that causes most of the swirls.
Oh, the swirl maker 5000 I went through one of these with my friend, his car I would never in 1000 years put my Subaru or my ISF through one of these… I sort of like the torture…. though….
Brian, are these shipped in Glass bottles ??, cause my BC-2 Gelled up in only a few months. And the Shop-Manager is a Queen, and she gets all the help up she wants...❤🐶
From 35 years of automatic wash operation and supply, I have numerous comments. You seem to have essentially endorsed the modern friction wash state of the art. The closed cell foam material used on wraparounds and the like is LOUD, but that doesn’t mean it is harming your vehicle. The material holds minimal liquid solution and uses one of God’s favorites, centrifugal force as well as gravity. Consequently it is VERY difficult to retain grit and use it to scuff the paint, as you so ably demonstrate on your frequently washed shop truck. The washing solution may well be neutral or mildly acidic, not alkaline. Finally, even though you don’t purchase an extra service protectant, your vehicle IS receiving a hydrocarbon additive to induce beading and therefore dryer performance. Washes get a bum rap because some operators cheapen their product. The particular facility you chose is a top tier operation which has much to do with how good your truck looks
😂😂😂wow…so let me ask you…why don’t owners of classic or show cars ever use an automatic car wash? Because they don’t want their highly polished flawless paint jobs destroyed by the car wash process in just one visit that’s why.
With all due respect Brian, what is with the shades? nice glasses yes but are you trying to be Incognito? Is the government after you :P MAJOR props to you and your channel!!!
Brian, I am thinking about trying a ceramic coating for a 2015 Q5. I'm considering a 1- 3 year product from you. My question is this: If I don't like having a coating or the coating is starting to wear off, how do I get it 100% removed so I can apply either another coating or go back to PolySeal? Videos are great and I appreciate all the time you put into helping us keep our cars looking their best.
Awesome vid boss! 1 question. I work in building construction and every day i leave the jobsite covered in dust and every other air particle the site stirs up. I try to keep the car clean as often as possible, but keeping the water bill down is pretty tough doing so. Is there a product you would recommend that i can benefit from? Thanks for your time !!
Perfect, I just picked up absolute from p&s , super satisfied with the results! It's been raining since and the water is beading right off just from the absolute without any drying aid
With BC7 when layering if you miss that "2 hour" window for the second coat should you wait until full cure to do the second coat or at that point is it too late because it will just reject itself?
