Iran’s national carrier, Iran Air, is officially no longer expecting nearly 100 aircraft from Airbus. The airline appears to now be absent from the manufacturer’s order backlog. The development comes with the release of the European planemaker’s year-end figures.
The aircraft have been listed in Airbus’ order books for over five years but changes in foreign policy and resulting sanctions have prevented their delivery.
