Went to lanzarote in the mid 90s as a teenager with the family, the San Antonio then was the lap of luxury, we used to stay in little self catering apartments down the road but every night the parents would go into the san Antonio for the entertainment, after a while the staff got to know us, so we started using the pool area during the day which was luxury compared to where we stayed, no one batted an eye because they were so used to seeing us around they just presumed we were staying there 😂 3 years in a row this went on for !! My parents in there 70s now still go back and love lanzarote!! Happy memories looking at that video!!

Another great video Dave. It brings back happy memories. We stayed there 15 years ago. It looked dated then, but we had one of the best holiday's ever there. The food was fabulous, and the entertainment was great. The hotel is close to everything as well. A bit of decorating and refurbishment would really make this hotel a top tourist hotel. Otherwise it's hitting all the right notes. Thanks for sharing Dave. 😎

I agree, but we put aside the outdated deco, still had best time, food was amazing, staff got on great with had a laugh, entertaiment was a bit social club type, but could take it or leave it, & go to the strip down road, id still give it top marks when you over see the deco

Aww thxs Ruth, me & dave had a right laugh, even tho its dated you cant knock the food & staff, like most hotels its a place to lay your head at night, its clean, comfortable, we definitely be back, as couldnt fault the hotel, great location, like i said to dave the entertainment is a bit social club vibe, but if you dont mind it & me & my 20+ yr old daughters didnt, your 5 mins away from Spoons & the nightlife, & its also quite you dont even here the planes, at night 👌

Nice wee vid as usual and well done Karen. Lovely hotel, always was, just a bit tired now. Always smile when i see it … old friend sadly now passed, loved the place, and took his girls in at night for a wee dance and entertainment. As long as you bought a drink they were happy to see you.

The views are amazing, from sunrise to sunset, what a view, & beautiful at night outside as dave stated, apart from needs updating, you cant fault the hotel 👌

We are just back from this hotel. Nice hotel lovely staff, food plentiful with lots of choice. However we did not have tea and coffee facilities in the room, we had to hire a kettle and buy our own milk tea etc. Also we did not get robes and we only had bbc1/2 no other English channels. I assume this was because we went half board only whereas Karen and her party were fully inclusive.

Mr Travelon (Dave) - You have got to check your thumbnails before uploading this one says "Vik San Antonio Hoel" surprising what a missing T does. I don't think it was a hole anyway. Keep up the great work with the vids and keep making us smile. Will be over in 13 days for a wonderful 4 weeks - can't wait.

The rooms are clean, tidy & cleaned each day, modern, or outdated you dont spend your holiday in room, we only in to sleep, & you dont sleep with eyes open 🤔 I cant knock the hotel id definitely go back as its prime location to everything

Restaurant staff attitudes change when you are half board rather than all inclusive. Refused to return to this hotel after being embarrassed by head waiter and other waiters.

U do know they change staff each yr, i found the staff amazing, i had a great laugh with the restaurant staff i couldnt fault them at all,
