Basically yep. I don't have an NV4500, but may swap one in if the getrag gives up. The SM420 in the original C20 frame had a granny low gear on it though.
@@BRWfilms hmm do you care to do your own? I have access to a very solid 66 C20 Arizona truck, to get you started on your vision/version. I've known the truck for 10+ years, friend is ready to pass it on. It deserves to be converted to diesel, Rat Rod, etc.
We need more young men such as yourself, to do these projects that meld the "Old" with the new. Rather your version,/vision or those of the "Rat Rodders",,,,,save the ride! @@StateFun I really appreciate this series because it goes to show that sometimes things don't have to be over engineered to be fully functional or safe. Sometimes "where there is a will there is a way" is more than good enough, at least as long as you have maybe half a shred of common sense lol.
