It's been long awaited, but finally, I have both the new cylinder head and some time in my hands to mount everything back together.
After more than 3 month cruising without engine, maybe it's time to have some mechanical propulsion again.

About a year ago I watched your Atlantic crossing from the Caribbean ... since I am closing on my retirement, I have been dreaming about spending my retirement traveling the globe. I'm so glad to see that you have finally started to post again ... I wasn't sure if you were ever going to post again. I'm actually considering building a boat for the circumnavigation --- glad to in see that you are back in the swing of things!!!

Congrats! The reaction you had after firing up the engine is relatable for me, I recently came into possession of an old sailboat and had to fix the engine. Sheer joy! That feeling when the engine starts again...I know that. I faced the exact same issue this spring (I have an old yanmar ysm12), and I fixed it aswell, and when you put the starter on, and you feel the first explosions.... YESSS !!! it's alive !!! Good job man !!!
