That's been my guess. That they want to wait till the situation is full resolved because releasing it now would make it seem like they forgot it isn't over yet.

Lower your difficulty if you think the level you are playing on is too difficult. Me and friends have been completing Helldive just fine. Crazy but fun
I thought it was just me thinking the spawn rates are broken, playing bugs on level 7 now feels like a helldive, I will say defintly feels like less titans and chargers tho
I was playing bugs on 6 earlier today and spawns did feel on the crazy side. Plenty of times we had 3-4 chargers and 2-3 titans on us at the same time. Out of fairness it could have been an issue with the group I was running with as I do play strictly with randoms. You know just aggroing everything that moves and having multiple patrols on us but definitely more intense than it's been
@@JAMAL-gf2fs I said nothing about the difficulty being an issue. I usually run on 8s but I'll go to 6 for testing things out. I didn't have much time to test things since the patch until today.
The hype for a lot of this is over. Them being cautious and not releasing this or that is just boring people. Even the new faction....its been teased so long I stopped caring.

Played a lot of Tier 7 this weekend, im not sure if its the mob spawns or bad play from teammates, but there were a LOT of mobs around. We had 6 or 7 chargers running around in a small area at one point.
They reverted the spawns, but it was my understanding they increased the patrols. More patrols means more chances to spawn breaches. My problem is chargers; they seem to spawn in pairs, and pairs, and pairs….
Bots was way harder to play, even on 7. Not sure if it was random patrols being more densely packed, but that's what it felt like. No way to skirt around danger, it was group in front, group to the left, group to the right. Would regularly end engagements with no ammo and no time to resupply because, you guessed it, more bots were on the way. Difficulty 7 felt like 9. Bugs felt fine on 9. A lot less bile titans made things less hectic to be honest. The behemoth chargers also didn't feel like _that much_ more effort, though they're definitely tanker.
There's WAAY too many entitled cry babies in the gaming community, the balancing will never be fixed for everyone, you "fix" it for one group of people, and another will whine an cry about it..."fix" it for THOSE whiners and another group will cry some more 🤦🏻♂️🙄
Spawns have felt off to me lately. Pre-patch, when I would play solo bugs, I was struggling hard to even play diff 3 - not because I couldn’t handle tougher enemies, but because by the time I finished the mission objectives, it felt like non-stop patrol after patrol. I couldn’t do side objectives and sometimes even outposts because there was no break to be able to do anything but barely keep my head above a growing pile of bug guts. Literally the only time I had a break was when I was constantly on the move. Post-patch, it feels like it’s harder, but for different reasons. After a fairly long segment of kiting and dying, I finally had just enough breathing room to finish a side objective (btw SEAF artillery is by far the worst and most frequent offender here). But it wasn’t patrols that were overwhelming me; maybe it was that I couldn’t kite very far without aggro’ing enemies at some poi, maybe it’s that breaches and drops are spawning more and tougher enemies, I don’t know for sure. What I do know is that something didn’t feel right.
As someone who was playing solo before that first patrol patch, they may have reverted the patrol spawns back to how but they also made changes to what spawns. There are aerial patrols now and with the buffing and placing more of the harder charger they may have made it even harder than before.
used to be 4 troopers per spawn down at trivial, and that plus 2 devastators or beserkers at difficulty 2, before that patrol change to 9+ troopers plus even more stuff that has yet to be reverted. Also extraction mobs are still worse than the rest of the difficulty level. I used to be able to barley get the objectives done at difficulty 4 while trying to get medals for better kit (extracting with non-common samples just never happened), the weapon nerfs and spawn rate change knocked me down to dif 2, and I have yet to even try dif 4 since the latest patch. I noticed there are still 9+ troopers per spawn and decided dif 4 just wasn't worth trying yet, there is no fun in non-stop guaranteed mission fails.
Honestly the day after the update came out I felt like they removed i-frames on ragdoll and made you take more impact damage, never batted an eye towards the spawns getting bricked since they said they reverted it. They made enemies harder in exchange for 2 less enemies per fight.
I did hate the previous change to spawns since i felt they were pretty good and spaced out before. After this change i cant really notice a difference between then and now but what i have notice from the few missions i played - every mission when we finally done the main obj. From that point on i basically had to fight every inch to the extract and i feel this could be a symptom of different changes. More exactly the spawning of less big armores eneimes and more weak small ones. IMO when you got the chain of the patrol being made longer (cuz bigger number of smaller bots makes the group longer) they just bump into each other more because the patrols are way longer than before. And the next thing is on bots (im mostly a bot diver when not playing major MO) the smaller ones are the ones that call bot drops but you realisticaly cant destroy the whole patrol before one stragler behind a rock decides to fire of the flare All this i think is leading to the game being kinda harder than before its a combo of wider patrols getting bigger area of influence and then getting stuck in a reinforcement loop.
I don’t see the region lock being lifted unless someone has info I haven’t seen. This cape is now a meme for HD2. We won the battle, but looks like the war was lost on that front unfortunately.
Been playing for months, before any patches, and the game has never been TOO hard. Played a lot since the most recent 0atch across a number if difficulties and, again, I wouldn't call it too hard.
My son and I tried playing bots on level 5 difficulty and we were getting completely overwhelmed with hulks and gunships then we went to level 9 just for fun and it was way easier. It makes me think that they messed something up because level 7 it up somehow is easier than level 4 to 5. Maybe I'm wrong but that was our experience.
The spawn rate is unplayable right now. I’m currently at level 119 and have to hang it up for now till it gets fixed. I bumped down from level 9 to level 5 and am still getting slaughtered. Clearly the patch is different for some. I’m watching game play with these RU-vidrs online and they are experiencing a completely different patch. I wish I got the same spawn rates bc then I could handle the new enemy chargers. But like I said the patch runs different for others in the community. Also the Helldive cinematic is broken too when dropping in and loads of crashing and every group I play in is full of rage quitters bc of the over whelming spawn rate. This needs a quick emergency hotfix.
Same for me, sometimes it works and sometimes it's pure bs. I've played a few missions on diff 7 and they were unplayable then I went for Helldive and those was some easiest helldives ever, they fucked something up badly with spawn rates.
Not to mention it's broken the social friends yet AGAIN!!! With all the time they've taken on this and the fact they are going to update in longer periods. These updates need to be tested because if they want the players back that walked away it has to playable and challenging but fun. At the moment it's not. Im running suicide and its x5 times harder and can't team with the squad but with level 20 randoms. The breaches after a second of being sighted by patrols that are everywhere. Now we've air patrols once spotted thats it for the whole level bugs just keep coming in huge numbers. Behemoths more out number the normal ones now constantly been chased by 2 or 3 of them you can't win.8 times out of 10 I choose non red areas yet were breached before we can get any gear. Difference now is the breaches last for ages spawning 4 or 5 chargers the bugs in the area start patrols near start and all breach again and again. What good is buffed slightly weapons when you make buff spawns and super sponge chargers that take x4 damage and spawn in every location nearly more then normal ones now.
To me is not an enjoyable game anymore. Now i Just join with low levels (5-25) in small difficulties to help People Who are starting, because is Hard to The with breach goles a Bot ragging. The enemies are broken RN.
It's harder on bots because having more chafe just means you get shot from more directions. It's easier on bugs because horde control is easier for them. I used to only play on 7-8. Now, on bugs, I won't play below 8 and I'm doing Helldives as often as not. On Bots though, I don't go above 7. You just get shot too much from too many directions. Imo if they want to make the people who don't like the game being this hard happy, then they need to leave bug spawns where they are now, and change bot spawns back to where they were before this last patch. Then lower the amount of patrols. Also, less gunships. For me though, I don't care. I was having fun before the patch, and I'm still having fun after it.
It is definitely harder. More spawns and on lower levels you have harder opponents. For ex. level 7 terminades. Always behemoths chargers. There haven't been any before. And on level 6 a lot of bio titans now, too. They haven't spawned before neither. I was used playing level 7 as a casual player. Now I have to sweat on level 6. It more work than fun now IMO.
We, the gamers who are playing your game, are telling you what we would like to see changed. Weapon buffs that are meaningful, spawn rate being back to the way it was before, and prevent crashes from occurring very often, and a workable social menu. And somehow Arrowhead manage to make it worse than it was before. I’m tired of giving them a pass especially when we gave them even more time than before to make the patch.
On the bot side the sheer number of hulks im encountering kinda sucks and with new clustered shots they can juggle you, i went flying yesterday was kinda crazy 😂 On bugs, i dont mind the new charger hes kinda cool looking. My bros came back for the patch and we enjoyed the bugs on 9 with the current set up. Bots are managable but more fruatrating. Also might just be us with all the star ship troops meming we do 😂
I was disappointed with the patch, I was looking forward to them reverting the spawn rate and patrols but I didn't feel the patch did that at all. The only reason I kept playing was because they said they were going to revert back to how it was before they did the patch that ruined it. Now that a patch has come out and it didn't revert it I don't know if I'll keep playing. There are parts of the game I like but seems like the devs keep shooting themselves in the foot.
the spawn patrol rate is like it was before but they adjusted the spawn rate of certain enemies, for example in automatons there are way more devastators now than before and a constant flux of hulks and missiles barrages coming at u there needs to be less devastators and more trash mobs the dog spawn rate and tanks are fine as they are but the rest need rebalance, bugs on the other hand there are way less titans now which is good before we had like 6 to 7 spawning at the same time but the behemoth charger can spawn just as much as before and they take 2 times more to kill i had a match today that i faced like 2 titans 5 behemoth and a handful of trash units if it wasnt for the high yield seaf i would have died, they need to decrease the spawn of chargers by 2 or 3 and pump the light mobs spawn rate. its common to see 10 hunters and only 2 to 3 brood and royal guard bugs per patrol wave they need to increase these 2 bug types spawn rate, besides these things the game is better than before but still need more changes to be perfect
On bug they should make bile spewer as a normal bug and reduce there spawn rate and if bile spewer only spawn on some mission then it should be a modify like the aerial partrol modify they just added so that we know what we are dealing with. And with this spawn rate the AR buff should make it become MG because with only 30 bullets per mag at the momment it not gonna cut it.
@@locmorningstar2740 i forgot about them if they implement spewers on normal spawn they need to make it like 3 to 4 there are matches they appear that there are 12 mortars around the match its not possible to deal with theirs spawn and its annoying to fight but if its 3 its way more manageable
on level 6 difficulty the spawns are outragous tbh MOBS of titans and chargers all the damn time for bugs and tanks, hulks for bots. Its relentless. I dont even see charger behemoths
the patrols do seem different. I was finally able to survive a D5 mission. but the increase in chaff spawn instead of larger enemies seems to be the problem. the whole decrease in larger enemies but increase in chaff is the issue. I can avoid the patrols now, but once a fight is kicked up its 50+ small guys flanking from all directions... in addition to larger enemies. and im soloing D5. I say keep patrols as they are bud decrease the breach spawn numbers.
pre patch I would see around 5 of the small acid spitting bugs that can slow you. now im getting around 15+ of those little shits along with everything else. that's a vast increase in spawns.
It's hard to take any of the patch notes concerning spawn rates seriously when what is written contradicts whats experienced in game. Play the last three days straight and I am 100% certain it is bullshit what they said about heavy spawns. I have had seven tanks dropped on me at once. Not saying I don't enjoy the challenge but the devs are straight lying to us. That or they're stupid
The game has been way harder. Playing Bots on Challenging. with a group of 4. As soon as the Final objective is completed, swarmed by large amounts of bots. Within minutes we are all dead, its seems actually impossible. I'm level 30
our decisions and wins or failures as a community ARE the story. ffs. as for the spawns LMAO. ive played through all this. and all i see is a community of babies that was 1 shot kills. yes there are patrols. but these patrols dont hover up and down or bob left and right. they are easy targets. the LZs have been hot but for christ sake just play the game. maybe the ones crying need to go back to easy levels
Their promise there would be less tanks is bull. 5 behemoth chargers at once while being swarmed by hundreds of smaller bugs. Ragdoll juggled constantly by 4-5 gunships you cannot stop (no towers) and shriekers everywhere on an eradicate mission. All on difficulty 7/ Not even bothered to try 8 or 9 after this crap
Ok so on the topic of enemy spawns. I think the people bitching are genuinely just bad. Like plain awful. Level 7-9 has been a breeze not like a walk through but occasionally there’s a challenge and sometimes I have an insane group that blows through everything. There’s 0 reality to the fact that now it’s harder when before this update a level 9 bot run meant 4-6 hulks camping out at the extract. I never experience that anymore I experience a challenge I don’t experience the BS that was before the update with 5 bile titans spawning right by extract.
Have you been on helldivers discord recently ? The type of people I see there will both never be happy with any change and will not rest until the game itself is turned into a trans furry pile of crap
Tbh this game should’ve had a story mode as well. A full out campaign like halo did and also have a forging/customs mode. Arrowhead blew it with this only going to identical looking planets and doing the same thing over and over again. Nerfing guns buffing enemies that are cpus like cmon
Everythings fine exept weapon and strat buffs, they are rly unnoticable and bad.. crossbow still usles instead of revert just upped dps? 😂 eruptor still usles now its at least a cluncky sniper thats replacable with diligence.. purifier still usles insult of a gun. Assault rifles they said they will buff all cuz they feel weak, still feels weak , instead of buffing all assaults mags to 40+ and upping dps.. nahh they micro touched them.. stratagams...exept gattling barrage and heavy machiengun they didnt buff any rly... am so dissapointed...and everybody will see this soon and stop playing again... am so sad for future of the game... new warbond 😂 usles armor perk who goes meleing stuff waste of armor perk... throwing knife...come on..be real.. we can hardly kill buggs with weapons now u tell me we can kill bugs with throwing knife 😂 ok. So exept for what i wrote here everything else feels good , lighting, fixes etc... guns strats..no words... ALSO amlost forgot... no mechs buff raillgun buff...
I honestly feel like a lot of things that leaked or were in some way teased/announced are „done on their end” Because of the emergent storytelling and dynamic campaign of Helldivers, they just have to wait for the right moment. This can be good and bad, since it creates immersion and rewards the community for MOs, but having a slow drip of content dependent on winning major orders is not everyone’s cup of tea (At least this is the case with stratagems, different enemies like the illuminate are maybe being done differently. Obviously they were being tested in game so they’re done to some degree, but with something as major as that they want to 1: wait for the right moment in the story and 2: polish it and nullify the bugs so the community doesn’t call it bullshit the moment it releases)
I think it’s pretty clear that the illuminate are coming very soon. The wormhole in Meridia is going to be utilized soon, I think they’re taking their time to make sure that they get the game in a stable and more player friendly balanced state. The new patch is proof that they’re moving in the right direction, and people should put their faith in them or maybe drop the game, because I don’t think there’s anything they could do to make them happy.

I think the spawn is fine, it’s just the air patrols that are being aggressive. At times we see 5 GUNSHIPS AT ONCE. Which if you don’t have the right equipment or god forbid near two gunships spawners it’s terrifying.
Just Join a Squad on helldive and go 100% Viper Commando and throw knives at the gunships ... I will make this now until they make this Trash knives usabel... Why the heck cant this brain damaged helldivers Not Pick Up His own knives after throwing them ?

Ever since the new patch I’ve been running the HMG because it’s way better now and actually useful with a supply pack because it doesn’t burn through ammo like it used to. They literally made so many things better, I’ve been running a bunch of odd ball setups and still clear on Lvl 9. At this point, what can they do to make you happy? The patch is a clear sign they’re moving in the right direction, at least I think it is. I’m not sure what else they can do, they’re actively trying to take in player input and make player friendly changes to the game.
They are never going to unlock them. Sony is a massive company they have such a big ego that they will not take a slap in the face like that twice over one game.
Honestly who gives a d*mn for cape, id rather wait for better balance cuz game is now unplayable how many patrols there is and then whole armada of planes spawn on top of you 😂 mech no buff, guns not enouf buff for that much enemies that comes at you... buffs were minor and unsignificant for new swarms we encounter... either buff assaults to be 45+ in mag or reduce spawn rates
I only play on helldive and I like the fact that you can’t extract every game . Always complete objectives and destroy most if not all bases . It’s a challenge that can be frustrating at times but that’s what comes with playing on 9 . People who complain should lower difficulty and stop crying about it .
Make the cape come out July 4th! It is the day the USA celebrates independence and it can be the day where it comes out where we got independence from Sony!
@@claudioaberrocales6928 how did your last missions look like ? Because I had constantly multiple patrols with at least 2-3 behemoths and a lot of small bugs spawn 20-30m from my location on diff 7. Bug breaches look the same, heavy spam is the same as it was but amount of small enemies got increased.
@polskipolak9073 Before the patch, I played lvl 8 religiously, and for me, I think there were more bile titan spawns happening and a lot more smaller enemies. In this patch, I'm feeling the difference between the spawn it's much easier for me to play now imo, so idk every match is different than others
Spawn rates generally are fine but we have more charger spawns and the behemoths have been buffed so ttk is massively increased, lots of bullet sponge enemies
If u think it's hard, drop the difficulty. I play 9. I drop down to 6 or 7. I'm literally waiting for enemies. It's a skill issue, drop to a lower difficulty. No one will judge u. Play where u want, and if it's hard and u don't like it but don't want to drop down, then just git gud. Those are the options, drop to a difficulty u can handle or push thru the pain of a higher difficulty to make it less difficult.
I think spawn rates seem fine to me when I played. My only issue is that the bot gunship patrols are too frequent and they are very hard to kill. I shot at a gunship with a railgun at 75% charge ~10 time and it still didn't go down. I think I even shot at one with a rocket launcher directly and it still didn't die. It is hard to always hit the engines. I wish they made the gunships a little easier to kill bc I think they can be very oppressive and problematic.
Since patch the spawn rate has definitely increased. Played HellDivers, Impossible modes and out team was constantly bombarded with bots and bugs. It felt off and frustrating. Like we ALL ran out of ammo and couldn’t find any trying to kills the enemy. Spawn rate is DEFINITELY off! 😬
I'm on playstation and the game is unplayable with the spawn rates and crashing when launching to surface unable to pull up stratagems menu support weapons not doing damage hardly. Launched on new mission level 7 and we were all overrun and killed in under 3 minutes of landing. Stopping game until it's fixed or just go to another game and not come back
Personaly i have no problem with the spawnrate. Before the patch it was a little bit salty somtimes ( a true Helldive in my opinion espessialy against bots). For me in this moment it‘s not to hard or to easy and less Titans on 9 are noticable which i‘m not really a fan of🤔 Over all it plays well 🤷🏼♂️
Not even remotely close to being harder. Those are the people who do nothing but complain. The air patrols are what they’re mad about, and that’s perfectly fine. You can’t make EVERYONE happy once you open it up to them suggesting things.
They didn’t revert it, I was trying to kill one charger then out of nowhere there was 3 more on top of me and a bile titan. They fucked up bad. But I am not surprised, I’m slowly not liking this game anymore.
Can someone ask the developers if they're ever thinking in addition to the game A minigun as stratagem with the amunition connect to a backpack with heavy penetration. That would be sick to use.
We should not wear the cape. Without those 170 countries, i feel the review bombing mission wqs ultimately a failed mission. If we do get it, i feel it's undeserved.
To be real yea there are way more enemy's. But the Kaos of it and the fact that's it's a battle is what it makes the game fun just cause it s difficult stop complaining and try harder.
Also the disposable rocket launchers come in clutch. You can put down two with the rockets and if you have semi okay aim you can stick one with the stratagem and get a 3rd and as long as youre bringing orbital laser or the orbital rail cannon you'll have enough firepower to pick them off while your teammates take care of the rest
Btw is this normal? In some previous matches i was at the very start of a mission and there was instantly around ten gunships and we had burned through 10 to 15 reinforcments trying to get them off our backs and another experience today in the same match 6 bug breeches ocured before we even started the objective and during extraction almost the entire area around the extraction point was filled with warrior and sheild warrior termanids, a few chargers, a bile titan anf even more hunters. This was on suicide mission both experiences.
There is somethink buggy with the spawnssss. I can take out the charger, charger behemoth with the flamethrower and others. But when it comes 2-4 charger and charger behemoth on the same time at level 7 it can be a bit hard. But i LOVE burn them down. And i love the shotgun handgun to!
