I love this one with these bigger blocks of color!!! The others have been beautiful but they were so much darker and the black almost swallowed or muted the colors in the ring pores. Love it!! ❤
Maybe it's just me but if you're trying to get all colors onto one little space maybe you need to keep track of how many puddles of each color you put on the black area. Like when you started you put like four yellow but then it was five and six or more of the other colors and then you ran out of room before you got to the purple. Maybe you need to start with 4 of each color then go back and add 1 or 2 of each to fill your space.Just a thought.😊
Maybe it's me, but the pearl colors seem to stand out more with the white pearl paint in the painting. You didn't have to show us a side view, or a panoramic view to see those beautiful colors. Not sure how it worked but it's beautiful 😊❤
Hi Molly, it turned out so incredibly great. How much of the pearl color do you mix, you can't see the color when it is mixed, when do you know that there is enough of the color?
Hi Molly! As usual, this is beautiful! I would love to see you do one of your waves in pearl colors! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us and continuing to be an inspiration ❤
Do the pearl paints mix? Like can you mix together pearl red and pearl yellow and get pearl orange? I imagine it would be tricky because you can’t see the exact color you mixed until it dries.
I’m loving your pearl paint series, they’re awesome ❤ Is the base black mixed with the same pouring medium as the colours or is it just paint and water? I’m excited to try this 😁
Hi Molly, could you tell me why the different pearl colours all look White when poured. If I look to buy Pearl colours like Violet, the paint looks Violet already so i'm not sure what you used. Thanks
These pearl experiments are such fun! They turn out so beautifully 🙂 Have you tried mixing them to see what happens? Pearl green and pearl blue could make a gorgeous pearl teal/turquoise - etc. Curious minds want to know!
Hi Molly, I'm very interested in your pearl color paintings. I'm curious about the PM you use for this process. Are you still using the PM from your video class or are you using water only? Several people have mentioned you use water only.
That is so beautiful! I’ve been watching you do these types of paintings and I’ve never done a wrecked pour before, you’ve inspired me to be brave and give this a go! The colours are gorgeous and I can only hope my attempt will be as successful! Amazing work as always Molly 💛
Oh might just be my favorite yet!! I used white in my last one but mine didn’t show up nearly as bright as yours! It turned more grey and I think I over wrecked it! 🫣 I kid you NOT though, just TODAY I did a ring pour and added puddles on top and then wrecked it!! It’s still drying. Too funny that we had the same idea! I’ll tag you in all my videos and I’ve given you verbal inspiration credit but I didn’t want you to think I was just copying you with the ring/puddle one! Mine are cool but not nearly as pretty as yours! That’s the difference in experience for sure! I am having a blast playing with them though and in the end, that’s what matters, right?! Much love my friend!!🤗💕
Hahaha no worries girl! My ring puddles will be out sunday! You are all good. I dont own any techniques and everyone is free to do them! You do beautiful work treesie!
0ohhh Molly, it's been so0 long since I've been able 2 catch up with yourself and 0lga.. BUT THAT IS TOTALLY BEAUTIFUL... I so0 hafta try ANOTHER ONE of ur FANTASTIC IDEAS OF PAINTING 😎🎨
Hi Molly!!!! I looove this piece with the white. 🎉 That's my new best piece!!! ❤❤❤❤ I will try with the white on my next painting. I'm experiment with my pearlescent paint like you. 😉😊 I'm not able to wait the paint is dry. 😄 like a little girl, I go many times to see my piece for see the step during she dry. 😅 I'm impatient to see the dry result. 😜 Do you use the black lamp or oxyde black? What the differences on the result on the piece? Thank you to explain me !! 🥰😘
Hi Molly, such gorgeous work and I’m totally inspired by your work. I am wondering what recipe you use for mixing the pearl paint? I’m in Australia so I get confused with the various types of Floetrol. TIA 😊
Curious: What are the differences you see with Arteza and Amsterdam pearl paints? I use Arteza on occasion, but I can't afford Amsterdam right now. And I've never done a puddle paint. This painting is stunning!!
I have been playing around with acrylic pouring for a year or so. Right now I feel like I have to start over after just playing around for a year. I tried finding this in your other video, but I couldn't find it. What "recipe " are you using for the paints your using. Is the black a different mixture than what your putting on it? I saw you did one with 2 different colors on the bottom. Were those the same mixture as the black here? (and recipe for nonpearl paint, if it's different. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. 😊
Brand new to pouring..... love this effect! Can you please clear something up for me? I know that you are using pearl white..... but all your color puddles look white until the paint starts curing. What paint are you using for the colors?
I have another idea for you! This almost reminds me of stained glass. What if you puddle the colors closer in a design. Less black in between and more control when you wreck? Beautiful colors!
I’m new to resin art but it deeply confused me when everything she poured looked like white. She named all theses colors and I thought something was going on w my eyesight 😆😆. I’m still confused how it turned colors 🤷♀️
I absolutely LOVE this ! I'm a newbie with a question....I use pearl paints but I can see the color....what brand is this that you use and where can I purchase them. I'm soooo excited to try this. Hope to hear back ❤
This is pretty but I'm not sure about the white. It didn't ruin it by any means, it just didn't add to it if that makes sense? Like when you added the yellow it was like 'oh yeah, that's really rounding out the colour palette' and it added something to the design - the white just looks like white or silver as you said. It would be really cool to do a straight pour or ring pour with just pearl white and black or Prussian blue, because it would be really shimmery and wouldn't be drowned out by all of the other pearl colours.
I absolutely love this series of paintings you are doing with the pearl colors. I’m in a funk right now where I’m not liking anything that’s coming out. I need to get back to my basics to make sure I am measuring right. What is the number video where you explain your mixing ratios
Helo Molly, you can get a stunning array of colours when mixing the pearl white one on one with any colour of your choice. You will end up with vibrant colours that hold their own even on a white background. Please try.
Molly I love your pearl pour series. I would like to know how you mix the colors. Do you mix in Floetrol with these? I want to try your ideas but I’m unsure of your mix.
I love this. I just bought the pearl paints, but they were way to watery. Do you use a pouring medium to mx with the pearl paint ? Is it like a tablespoon of paint to how much medium ?
When you first started talking about using the pearl white I thought you were going to do the whole thing with just black and pearl white. I am wondering what that would look like, but I still cant wait to get to the end of this video to see what this painting looks like.
I've never seen it before when you couldn't see the color first how is it done because I've been experimenting with acrylic pour painting and I would love to try this out
I would have never. Known that's what it would have turned out that beautiful and bright. The torch will also add cells and it will move the paint pretty neat
Would it be possible to add a couple of drops of food coloring in the cups so you can identify the colors? Or would that interfere with the actual color development?
Can someone explain to me how all the poudles look white until they dry this is absolutely amazing and i wanna try it but just a little confused on the paint all looking white until they dry
