Honestly Tavros is one of the most saddest characters I have ever seen. He tries his best yet his insecurities always get to him. He seems so happy just being dead because he doesn't have them anymore.

I'm late on the Tav train but my two cents: He's one of the only trolls that hasn't killed someone, strives to be kind, and is more disillusioned and realistic than others (Like, say, Fef, who, despite being fantastic, coddles people--er, cuttles). He was willing to forgive Vriska after years of abuse and couldn't bring it to himself to kill her, because he saw killing as fundamentally wrong, even if she did deserve it. He overcomes his own anxieties in the dreambubbles and puts together an army, not out of mind control or through force, but by asking and by being kind. (Also he can fly without wings, and his godtier legs are fabulous.) Equius is weird, no question about it. But Tavros doesn't care. He plays with him and doesn't demand anything in return. Again, it is through his kind nature and his forgiveness and tolerance of others that lead Equius to build him legs to return the kindness he so freely gave. His Lusus is a tinkerbull--so small, it probably could not protect him from other trolls picking on him for his caste. He still loved it for all it did do for him. He was unconditionally kind to Aradia and Karkat, the only two trolls below him in the hemospectrum. He didn't want to rule over them--he wanted to be friends with them. In short, Santa I want a Tavros Nitram for Christmas. I've been very good.

Tavros was always very self-cautious of how he presented himself except to the people he loved, because he thought they wouldn't judge him. Being kicked around by his Matesprit didn't make this any better. I feel so bad for him, I understand how weak he thought he was. But the whole aspect of his class, Page, is that they will one day understand themselves and unlock their most powerful potential. But that never fucking _happened_ because he got fucking killed. I feel like I can understand Tavros emotionally and he's one of my favorite trolls, and I feel so warm and soulful when listening (or singing) to this song. Go Tavros ^-^

Vriska tried to make a man out of him, she tried to make him reach the god tier and never realised how hurtful her words were... But Tavros just wanted to have fun, thats why hes better off the afterlife, he is happy now, as the song says: "Finally, I've flown..."

Don't worry, eventually you'll get your day in the sun Tav. Quite possible whilst doing the "Tavros finally gets a successful character arc" cabbage patch or "Tavros tells Vriska to go suck it" air guitar.

Me: In all reality Hussie is so bias against tavros and I don't know why. Hussie: (favorite character is vriska) Me: I think I know why now.

At first I asked, "Why does Tavros blame himself for his weakness? It's natural for lowbloods to be much weaker", but than I remembered how much of an effect Vriska's bullying had on him. I never would have guessed he took it THAT seriously

i feel like the true meaning of homestuck characters is masked by the art style and jokes and general chaos of the comic. these songs really bring out the deeper parts of them

Can every Homestuck just agree that Tavros Nitram deserves some real love?

I used to listen to PhemieC's songs a lot when I was about 11-13 and was really into Homestuck. Coming back to them now, at 18... holy shit, they're still so amazing. These songs will always have a special place in my heart :')

I´m not a native english speaker, and that's the only excuse I can give for not finding words that can explain how I feel listening this song. I've finished Homestuck without listening this song, now that I listened, I can understand WHY I liked Tavros so much, Why I felt hate onto Vriska, why I hate Hussie for being such an asshole with Tavros, Tavros is deep, he's maybe the saddest troll, but he has will to live after all, something that I need to understand and reciprocate on my life :(, and that's why I feel that this song is doing a deep wound inside myself, thanks for this song, and sorry for my bad english and redaction lol

I have always been Tavros... I'm an actual Taurus too... that's the saddest part... this song helped me through a really tough time... but now it just makes me even sadder... I thought I had finally found my wings... only to have them ripped off again... I never even finished the comic because I saw my character dies for his friends in every cycle.... Sitting here with my girlfriend spiraling because she sat me down to watch one of her childhood movies "Hook" from the 90's... One of the characters (Rufioh Nitram) was based completely based off of one other lost boys from the movie.
