@Anil P Sudan that's a great deal. Here people were quoting me nearly 20k and I got the unit from Mumbai for 10k and that ended up missing a lot of parts due to which I had to get the parts fetched locally and costed me nearly 15k. So yeah, if you're getting it for cheaper, it's great 😃
Hello Rishank! This is a mind blowing mod. I just wanted to know the total amount of money spent for the mod excluding the engine swap. That is the paint job, alloys, interior, lights etc...
Hi Prajwal, thank you so much. The paint job costed 22k. The red fog lights was ours so no cost. The bumpers front and back costed 9k, headlights costed 2.5k, number lights costed 1.3k, the high lift jack costed 5.5k and the jack mount costed 3k. Alloys were brand new for 17k(set of 5). Tyres were used, got it from a friend for 22k. Rear bumper lights were 900 for 2. Grill costed us 4500. The bumpers, grill, headlight and rear bumper pod lights were purchased from one guy which came with extra shipping cost of 3k. I hope I have mentioned everything in this😃
There is a heat resistant mat that you get which you put it in your engine bay. Most mechanics know how to do it. Get that fixed and your cabin will stay cool. Hope this helps 😀

The usual place of mounting powersteering is the place where it is mounted on my jeep. You can get it checked with your local mechanic as to where it is best suited for you. Hope it helps 😀
Hi, haven’t swapped the gearbox. It’s the stock 4 speed one that comes from the factory. The engine itself was 75k, swapping that came up to 1.2l as the crown pinions had to be changed and wiring had to be done.
Yes bro 😀 the engine swap costed 1.5l including the power steering fitting, bolero steering and the power clutch kit. It's the stock transmission of a mm540

@@pruthvirajashekar4653 Depending on where you are from, enquire in your local mechanic shop and they will be able to help you out. You will need a di turbo engine out of a bolero or a pickup. That engine sits directly with the gearbox and all you need to do is change the crown pin to get performance. Hey, the Merc power steering fits into jeeps. I honestly don't know the model number or anything but it's extremely common and you get it everywhere. The price ranges from 7k to 15k depending on sellers. You should talk to a mechanic and find out the essential parts to get and then find a seller. I got it from a guy who missed sending various other parts and it costed me 4/5k extra to make everything work properly. If you have a trusted mechanic, ask them to source it for you so they can do everything and you needn't worry about not getting all the parts required. Hope this helps. According to most mechanics I researched from, the only two compatible power steering parts for a Jeep are the original mahindra one which costs around 25/35k and the Merc one. If you are able to fit the civic one, do let me know, it will help other people reading the comments as well 😀
No, that's not possible on a mm540, but it is possible on cl540 and cl550. I have uploaded a video called I got my revenge on which I've showed that jeep if you are interested. It is not impossible, you can get it modified on a mm540 but it doesn't come from the factory as far as I know. Hope it helps 😅
Thank you so much. If it is the same engine spec, then you can import it from India. I don't know about the import taxes in your country so you'll need to check on that. Alternatively, you can pick up spares from India if you ever visit. Here the parts are available in abundance. I didn't even know that mm540 was sold in Europe until now😅

With a stock di engine, you can get a much better sound bro. Go to a local mechanic and ask them to make a exhaust. It will sound great. In a turbo engine, the sound is usually lower and this is the max you can get but if your engine doesn't have a turbo, it will sound better. Hope it helps.
Actually we haven't installed rock sliders on this. It has the stock footstep of thar di and also mm540. We are planning to install rocksliders soon. 😀

@@Rishank 8 j and 10 j are width of the rims that means 10j would is wider then 8 j. That will hit the leaf spring. You can eliminate the spacers with the offset of rims negative offset like may be -25 or -30 would work even i own mm540 so i was searching which rims to be installed 🤗

Since I've got the thar style fenders, which fits normally, there won't be much to talk about it. But I know about the 6 inch fenders for that. I will talk about it in my next jeep video 😃
@@shruthithangamma8629 yes but the gearbox alone costs 65k which is kinda useless for the purpose we use it for. We don't use it on highways or long drives so it's fine for us. Dad got the jeep long back. We weren't using it. It was at a friends place in Bangalore. I don't know how much he bought it for back in the day.
Any kind of modification is illegal India but getting a DI turbo Engine on a Jeep is the most common swap in India. You can get Fitness certificate after you swap it out as well so I think you are good to go here. 😅

I would surely but I recommend you go to a local mechanic who can fetch you the part instead of the person I got it from as he didn't give me all the parts necessary and I had to fetch everything locally and it costed me more.
