FINALLY MODIFYING THE PD130 MK4 GOLF!! 

I'm surprised the golf caused you hassle around 8 years ago I had loads of pd 130s and 150s and they were such a good platform to work on and never had major issues at all great engines

Vac pipe simplification 👍 And Fmic keep those intake temps down replace the boost hoses as the standard ones leak 👍Put the breather at the top of the engine to a catch can and block the intake with a bung 👍

Egr delete does make it smoother and more responsive because you just got rid of all the gunk in the egr valve

Clean the manifold out when you get a chance as well....they get caked up to fook and it makes a difference. Seeing this pd content is making me miss my Bora ....debating going getting another 😂

When it comes to turbo don't bother with a hybrid GT turbo go straight for a GTB2260vk or higher the difference is night and day

Egr deletes improve the throttle response I've heard. Need to delete mine on my 1.7 isuzu diesel

2260, 120% firads, front mount, 4 bar map sensor, downpipe, straight pipe, paddle clucth, remap 300bhp plus broooo....I had a fabia with Jw1856 witch was running 256bhp that was fun enough but my pal has a fab running 320bhp with 2260

Take that inlet off and burn all the carbon from the inside of it the ports will be so small and clogged with carbon it will be like an asthmatic sucking through a Straw

My golf has egr delete and straight pipe exhaust and ran out of mot so got to find the right place 🙈😂

Loads better but you need to blank the hole where boost gauge line goes you'll have a boost leak

I've a Mk5 TDI with bls pd lump in they have funny way of getting under your skin as for egr waste of time fitting as cause problems engine should run cleaner as not recycling crap plus makes engine bay more tidy stick short shift linkage kit on makes em feel sportier and takes slop out of box

*Bit of a story don't hate me please* Not going to lie man, I know the pain of one thing after another with a car. I have a mk1 focus, 3 months after buying it the clutch went, then it was the water pump, not long after the back box fell off, then I had a shattered rear wheel bearing that set my abs off fooking my front discs and pads, had the track rod ends replaced due to tracking issues, then previous friday my silencer fell off on way back from picking up a chinese, realised the cat and silencer were both connected not two seperate parts so have had the cat and silencer replaced to find out the flex pipe oft then manifold has a blow which is the next job, and to top it off my blower motor went the other month and I have only just got a new onr to fit 😂 Thing is, I ain't got the money to throw at new cars, I'd much rather fix it and know it's been done then buy a car and find something wrong with it a month down the line, anyways this golf will be one to remember man it's worth the time and money to fix if it's a car you love 👍

Egr delete makes a massive difference, especially if it’s caked in carbon. Get the cat out Aswell

You need to get it mapped out and a aem dry filter on it
