Finally! New BMW 5 Series in India in long wheelbase version | TOI Auto  

Here’s the detailed walkaround of the next-gen BMW 5 Series long wheelbase. BMW will soon launch the new 5 Series and this model will be sold here in a long-wheelbase variant which makes it the first generation of the luxury sedan in India to be offered in this format and also the first market where the long-wheelbase version will be offered in a right-hand-drive configuration. The new 5 series is built on BMW’s Cluster Architecture (CLAR) platform and the 5 series shares a similar structural foundation as other BMW models which come with both electric and ICE.
Talking about the design, the sedan gets a large kidney grille with contour lighting and it gets sharp LED headlamps with new twin boomerang-shaped DRLs, similar to the BMW X1. In terms of dimensions, the 5 Series LWB measures the 5 Series measures 5,175 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height, making it 212 mm longer, 32 mm wider and 41 mm higher than the outgoing model.
