I had these in 97, they were the absolute most comfortable shoes I’d ever had at that time. I got some newer ones recently and was disappointed when I put them on! Oh, and back then they were just as expensive. To think they’re still in the same price range 26 years later is kinda crazy.

If this was a few years back, I’d grab these in a heart beat. Nowadays I’m thinking more about the comfort vs anything else. For that price you can grab something just as good that will provide better comfort & materials. If they sit & I can catch them on a sale, I’ll grab them for nostalgia.

I just bought these at footlocker online today in Canada...I got so lucky that the only size available was my size. Crazy people are sleeping on these. I already have the 2018 OG gold bullets but really wanted silver so I'm glad I was able to cop these.

Good review, but realised that the rear pull tab doesn't run from the midsole to the top the sneaker (or maybe that's actually how the OG 97's were). I'm a big 97 fan but I was surprised to find out that these were gonna be released since the last release was only 5 years ago. The NIKE BY YOU options for the 97 have been pretty good over the past year, but not sure how long it's gonna last.

That’s how the true ogs were, yeah! The 17’s had midsole up, but rfs use that release was fucjed and sold out everywhere sooooo fast, I think everyone Leaned towards assuming that’s the true version lol

These are my third pairs after 1997 and 2011. My last pair did not have the seam on the outside, I like it more. But I love the shoe. It's part of the wildest time in my life and I got so much good memories. Today I got 2 Pairs. So I'm ready for the next years.

I just got these in, and I got some grey suede new mold 97s earlier this year. The OG felt narrower, as mentioned. Flipping the two over, the sole of the OG is more aggressively tapered towards the big toe, so a non-narrow toe can hang over the sole, whereas on the new 97 that taper isn't there. For this reason I would think a half size up in these is best, having gotten my tts like the new, the OG are much narrower.

Tried but 12 1/2 sells quick and I wanted to pay retail on the OG. hit on the nike app had to settle for a 12 theyre snug. Sometimes gotta make a sacrifice to rock dope kicks lol. hope they break in some like my tn airmax og cause they started off a lil tight but feel good now.

Wow and glad to hear these just got released. I just got a used pair of last years violet silver bullet off eBay. I had the original Silver bullet and Gold bullet in 97 oh and the Silver and blue that was a big hit when that version came out I believe also in 97. The thing I noticed with the OG 97 pairs is the metal mesh they used for the side vent. Not sure if they still have that on the newer models and replaced with fabric.

Think the 2017 models are better due to the fact that theres that god awful stitch above the red nike swoosh in this new model. My 2017 pair are still in great condition so I'll be giving these a miss unfortunately.

Totally agreed. Also have the 2017 model. Like them more then the new one. The Stitch ist really ugly above the swoosh on the OUTSIDE.
