Oh dear, you got a Terminator in the house too! You can get the first aid kit in. It became a very sturdy bed, the wood is gorgeous.

Looks good. Using reclaimed wood and materials can be a bit tricky at times. I use quite a bit of reclaimed material myself for projects so I can relate.
