How about a plot twist, the evil step mother captures Snow White and uses magic to swap their souls, to where Snow White is in the evil step mothers body (played by Gal Gadot) and the evil step mother is in snow whites body (I would say played by Rachel Ziegler, but let’s be honest, she wouldn’t even be acting, she would just be herself) like a midevel version of face off or freaky Friday

I don't believe that Peter Dinklage has problematic views. I feel that Peter Dinklage is a problematic view. And with an obverse opinion such as his with regards to his 'cave dwarf' comment, I firmly believe that the only 'dwarf' living in a cave may very well be him.
I've taken to calling movies that combine live-action performers, CGI characters and environments "live-ish action." Basically it's when they try to simulate reality while combining the elements. A previous example of this is the live-ish action version of "Pinocchio" which has a combination of CGI characters (Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, the Fox and the Cat), live-action performers (Geppetto, The Blue Fairy), and CGI-created environments.

Movies take a long time to make. There is still a lot of woke crap in the pipeline. Blade was going to have 2 women lecturing on misogyny. (according to several youtube sources) His daughter was going to turn into an all powefull Mary Sue character. Echo was a flop, Ms Marvel was a flop. The Eternals grossed $402 million worldwide. It cost 236.2 million. According to the “rule of thumb”, the film breaks even to the penny, as it made exactly 200 percent of its production budget. So it lost money if you take promotion costs etc.
Dinkledge does and says as he is told. He did what he was told to do and say. It all comes from the owners, the paymasters, what comes out of their employees.
Actresses and actors are sometimes in terrible movies. The trick to not being also viewed as terrible is to not be terrible in the movie itself. Think Sam Neill in Omen: Part 3. With Snow White, Ms. Zegler is unfortunately being terrible in and out. Regarding Gal Gadot, she is taking the high road; the movie is terrible, she isn't.
Many actors appear in not-so-great movies. An example of this is George Clooney: The Return of the Killer Tomatoes (he played the best friend of the main character).
I am not sure what you mean is wrong with having cgi dwarves. They look alright. How do you know that it isn't little people that did the motion capture for them ? Sure, RZ has been a PR wreck, but it seems everyone hating because of her past comments, without seeing the new trailer for what it is. But yeah, hating on Disney so mainstream right now...

Peter Dinklage didn't make the smartest recommendations, but it was Disney that listened to him, Disney that chose CGI instead of paying actors who could have used the money.
Truth be told I’ve never liked her from her RU-vid days like I’ve never found anything appealing about her, but especially not now and honestly no disrespect to the lovely people who run this RU-vid channel, but I don’t think she’s really gonna quit and the reason I say that is because she’s so narcissistic she’s so full of herself she wants to be the center of attention.
