Hey guys! In today’s I’m going to show you how I remove my locs from my natural hair with minimal shedding and zero breakage! These locs were such a great protective style and I’ve seen so much hair growth these past 5 weeks; but it is definitely time to remove them. I don't know if someone already asked you, but do you have low or high porosity hair? You review a lot of wonderful products, but I have low porosity hair and it can be very picky. So I am just wondering before ya know buying. You look amazing and keep up the great work!

I took out my box braids on saturday sunday. Started at 1pm saturday took some breaks in between and unbraided to 6am sunday. (After almost 2 months stay) My little sister helped me with some and she didn't comb out the part she unbraided. I am currently walking around in knots in some parts of my hair. ... P.s. always Comb out each hair after you unbraid. ... Thank you for listening. Bye😁

I know.🤣 but it’s the MASSIVE amount of hair lost at once, that freaks me out. Because I never know if it’s the naturally shed amount, or if my hair is actually falling out. 🤣🤣😂

@@Jewellianna That's what happens after a few weeks. Your hair will shed daily, but when you have it in a protective style, it just stays with the rest of your hair and when you finally take it out, it looks like a lot more shedding than it is because it's all coming loose at the same time.

OmG, I had my faux locs in for almost 2 months, getting them out was the worse 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️, but my growth was amazing with little shedding 😁🥰. Letting my hair breath for a month and getting them back in. They were so cute and light. It was nice to just get up and go without worrying about my hair.

Chanelle Booysen yes because there’s waayy less tension and they aren’t heavy. You can also manipulate them as soon as you put them in which is why I’m doing them on myself🤗

Great video Jewellianna. Would you say your hair is back to its original length that it was before the hairstylist incident? I recently cut my hair trying to remove the damage. It was thinning alot at the ends and when i saw how short it was after it bothered me alot because i missed my hair especially since i had a cut years before and was growing it back. To this day the length of my hair still bothers me. Any tips on how you dealt with your hair being shorter?

Yes! I had almost the same amount here, also come out when I washed it. Lol I deep conditioned and steamed with the Shea Moisture manuka honey masque and it felt amazing afterwards!

You have slightly longer and denser hair than i do but I feel gou lost about the right amount of hair. I typically leave my hair in braids for 2 to 3 months and I dont lose much hair. I would recommend using more than just an oil to detangle next time tho. Something with aloe vera gel and/or marshmallow root and slippery elm combo. AMAZING slip that will help prevent taking out hair that may not necessarily be shed hair

it didnt really seem like you lost a lot of hair. i do recommend taking a break from adding hair for protective styles but if your going to do it, i would like to see passion twists.

I feel a lot more hair will come out when you wash it just cause finger detangling isn't enough, so you'll see more shed hair if you comb it out
