After seeing it in testing during our previous visit to explore the new Mundo Amazonia zone, it's finally our turn to test Bellewaerde's new Intamin water ride!
In the new zone, this thrilling attraction is perfectly situated with stunning views of the lift and the massive Half Pipe. All the technical aspects of this unique ride are visible, making it a delight for experts.
The queue moves efficiently, despite the limited number of passengers per boat. Once seated and weighed, you're comfortably secured with handles in place.
The adventure begins with an inclined platform leading to the accelerated lift, improving ride throughput. You'll reach the top quickly and then navigate the twists and turns of the first section. Warning: it spins-a lot. It's super fun, with a small splash on the intermediate drop, but the final splash is quite mild.
Then comes the best part-the lift. It's impressive and super smooth. At the top, you gain momentum for the Half Pipe. The descent is thrilling, and the wave of water that splashes onto the boat adds to the fun. It's truly excellent. After a few back-and-forth motions, you reach the end of the ride.
Surprise! Before returning to the station, you're taken down into a mine via an elevator, entering a mini Tower of Terror on a boat. Illuminated decorations enhance the immersive experience, making it truly well done.
