When I started collecting retro games I knew CIB would be too expensive for me so I only purchased the loose game cartridges. This is a great alternative to the original box and the quality looks really nice, love that it also comes with a clear protective sleeve. It may seem expensive but compared to the price you would pay for the original box it's a bargain and in mint condition!

Gorgeous video! 😍 'Finally' is the right word. I think people will love these. I love the work he's done to cover so many cartridge styles, and the mini box protector is a stroke of genius! And thank you so much for the shout out. I still love my mini boxes and learning to make them gave me many new skills and led to ideas that I've been able to explore on my channel for years. Do you have any of the original Game Boy game protective cases? It appears that there's enough room in the box for cased GB games, but I wanted to check. And what about the original dust cover on SNES carts? It doesn't look as if those would fit, but I thought it was worth asking. Great video, great product. Keep it up!

Definitely room for the Gameboy dust covers. Unsure about for the SNES though. They are pretty much like a glove when it comes to the larger consoles.

Thanks for answering if they come with the protective sleeve. I couldn't find that explicitly stated on their site. They're reasonably priced considering. I once bought a Canon Pixma Pro photo printer and made several of my own full sized boxes for NES, SNES, etc. They came out good, but were a lot of work to cut and fold. I didn't realize the life span of an ink jet printer was 2 years or less if you go periods without using it. So making them myself is no longer an option.

SO TRUE! I think many of us have tried to go down that diy hole only to find out that the time and money was a pain. THE INK is what kills me super expensive and seems to go fast. and on top of that I could essentially buy a new printer with full ink for the same price as just buying ink for my existing printer. such a pain!

@@DiskCart I've seen ink refill kits online. You can mod your ink cartridges to basically be refillable somewhat like a tank printer, and that ink is so much cheaper. Haven't tried it myself though so not sure how effective it is.

Just bought these for my collection! Thank you so much for this video. I have been waiting for a more size to fit style retail replica box for N64 cartridges and these are awesome! The protective plastic is a nice feature for keeping the box strong.

HAHAH I finally got some inspiration to learn some more editing stuff. watched waay too much daniel schiffer and a new one austin paul . I was like I have the tools to try this out but I lack the editing knowledge. So I failed a bunch in order to learn it. It's still not perfect but its a good starting spot and kind of unlocked a whole other side of editing for me.

I bought a few of these for each GB/GBC/GBA Pokemon game I own. They will make my collection look much better without loose cartridges just sitting around. I want original CIBs but I don't have the few thousand dollars for that. Hopefully someday I will, but these will work for now.

Another fantastic video from the man himself. This is a very cool idea. Saves space which is always a factor if you have a large collection. My poor wallet, but I see this as a great way to give my SNES and N64 games some protection and make them look better on my shelf. And like you said I don’t have to worry about destroying my original boxes. Thanks for sharing!

I'm thinking maybe an add-on for a lightweight foam insert for the gb/c/a. I'm looking at styrene sheets and custom waterslides for mine but that expensive. I'll be sure to check them out! ^.^

I made a ton of these years ago, for the nes based on the guys video. Ultimately, I stopped because of how long it took, how much it costed for card stock, printing, and ultimately it wasn’t worth a dime. If the price is right it would be worth it. These look really nice. I’m torn between these and the bit boxes.

I believe they are still active. The buisness from what I understand was just one man originally . I think they may just not have time to be doing socials. Id guess they were also pretty backordered for a while and may still be. It is all hand cut one by one and people were ordering a Lot of boxes.

I ordered over 100 mini boxes and it’s been 12 days without a shipping notification. Any idea how long it takes to receive the order? I’ll update when I receive mine Update: apparently his supplier sent the wrong sized boxes but he is getting the right sized boxes soon, he said he would ship in July 2022 Update 2: decided to ask for a refund because it is August 15th and no progress has been made. Had to begin a PayPal resolution center request because he hasn’t replied to my previous emails.

On my end I am unsure. I know he had a massive influx of orders from social media attention and it is two people hand making these so id imagine they are working hard to crank these out as fast as possible. 100 of these is going to look awesome btw!

I ordered mine almost two months ago. I’m happy to wait as these seem super awesome but would love to get some updates on the progress. I completely understand what I assume is a huge volume of orders. But would help to just keep people posted. A quick email confirming they are working on it and maybe a rough time estimate. Nobody wants to feel like their order has been forgotten about

The gameboy is worser then the NES these are the games that Nintendo can do a remake of only for the Nintendo Switch but instead they don’t care if you enjoy playing your gajes without color that’s great the graphics just horrible I would say Sega game gear was the best the only problem it needed 6 AA batteries to expensive no rechargeable batteries only xbox came with idea I love xbox a lot it was their idea

Sounds like it's not right for you then lol. If you chill in the retro community a bit though you might start noticing a lot of custom boxes. This caters to those people. Plenty of displays for the carts alone though THAT is for sure. I have a ton of videos dedicated to that.

I can't afford to purchase CIB retro games, this is a great alternative for all my loose cartridges.
