I don't understand why people are promoting this stupid device. All this is doing is fooling the ECU and manipulating the throttle input i.e if you press 20% of the throttle then it's sending a false signal to the ECU as if the throttle is fully pressed hence making it 'Seem like you're getting better acceleration". 18k for this piece of crap that will destroy your gearbox and fuck with the ECU doesn't make sense. It's fun on empty roads and all but when you're stuck in bumper to bumper traffic this will definitely get you into an accident as no matter how gently you push the throttle it'll send a signal to the ECU as if the accelerator pedal is fully pressed and hence rear end the car in front of you. If you do a drag race of the same car with and without this stupid box there will be no difference in the 0-100 time as you will be pressing 100% of the throttle all the time hence eliminating the use of this thing. I can vouch on this. Save yourself some money and get a proper tune if you need some additional and reliable performance out of your car. Also, as far as I can understand this thing will not let you maintain a constant speed because as soon as you even touch the accelerator it will send a false signal to the ECU hence giving you all the power even if you're just giving 5% throttle input. And this point can also be seen in the video but he's twisting this point in a way that makes it seem like it's a pro rather than a con.
EXACTLY bro. The DSG in itself is a flawed gearbox being kaam chalaoed here. This POS will destroy it thoroughly by removing the initial torque delivery limitations the manufacturer has kept to prevent exactly that from happening.
dsg me jo lag aata h vo dsg ya koi bhi dry clutch ke lag zaruri hota h pls dont use it on regular basis you can use for drag race or more that kind of stuff but not for daily drive pls
It will damage your car definitely Because Car ko uske gearbox ke hisab se tune kara jata ha uper se DSG gear box itna unexpected power delivery dega ki gearbox heat ho jaye ga I will recommend in Manual car than DSG
Learner from a VW expert that the auto transmission is not able to handle above 250NM torque. So mapping like this , only would make the transmission fail early
Not just about the capacity of the gearbox, it's also the way the torque is delivered. There is a reason the manufacturer has kept the initial pick-up delayed, so the sudden surge of torque does not ruin the teeth of the flywheel, of that cursed dry DSG gearbox.
