I use a tubedreamer into a rattler too. Each is great on its own but the best stack I’ve found for my needs. It would be a great double pedal for them. Ts and Rat is such a great combo.

Boomster stacks SO well! Tubedreamer combined with it and reverb+chill was probably my fave. Comp with it was really nice too.

I had considered having one of those built for me but I backed out because everything that's put into one of these is set in stone but now, after having heard this, I don't think it's much of a compromise at all! Once you buy several pedals, a board, interconnects, and a power supply, you're looking at this kind of money or more! Darn you, Jay, darn you to heck! Now I'm gassing all over again!

3 delay llamas!!! My bets were on slapback, rhythmic and atmospheric but I loved the multi tap gallops you were getting. Very excited to hear about your thoughts going into the build.

You knocked my main 3 sounds out of the park with the delays :) As you can see, there is a few tricks up the sleeve with the ways the delays are implemented, but those definitely are the three sounds I use when I play with this thing live :)

Congratulations! My eyes are not as good as they used to be and for that reason I’d choose something a little less ‘loud’ for myself, else I wouldn’t be able to know where to stomp my foot on. But then, that’s the beauty of this concept, you can choose anything you like. It’s a custom made board. And the idea is thrilling! I think I have something to think about. 😬😬😬

Welp, this is awesome. I'm curious how far off this is from buying the pedals individually, & I'd imagine the custom paint job would cause the biggest gap. This thing looks like fun though!

Crazy thing is JAM has this thing listed around $2900, which comes to about $207 per pedal... And that doesn't even include the custom switching, buffers, paintjob, and specialty circuits I have in it. Definitely getting your moneys worth with these builds.

That is true commitment to a pedal board there. No swapping out on a whim for the latest must have pedal. I be interested to know how many of those they build. I wouldn't think there is a large demand.

I know right! It's the fact that is is mostly an all analog board. Those old style analog boxes definitely didn't need as much juice as all these modern ones.

That took a LOONG time to get perfect. We ended up going with a Mad Professor Silver Spring Reverb. It was the perfect reverb voicing for the sound of this board, is super quiet, and allows me to keep everything powered on the board with a single 9V power supply

That's a great classic reverb, it seems to get a bit overlooked these days. Fantastic board, may it bring you years of joy! (without patch cables going bad too 😀)

Yeah! The two tap tempo delays are in parallel and routed to the same TAP switch. Fun little mod I had then wire up for me :)

They are switchable buffers at the beginning and end of the top row (especially handy when I'm using it in an effects loop). I also have a switchable buffer at the end of my bottom row as well. Check out my vid this Saturday as I break everything down on this build and show you how it all works :)
