Last year it was too cold to play for long time, but this year we were able to play as much as we could.
Aty seemed to enjoy swimming so much and it was great to be with him!
Since there are many comments about a leash, I'll write down the rules.
Basically, I'll put a leash on Aty with following rules.
・ There are other people around us
・ Locations with leash rules, such as campsites and private land
・ Places where there is a possibility of danger to Aty, such as where the river flows fast or on a bridge

It's impossible not to love Captain Aty! It was so great to see him swimming and diving! It makes me so happy to see how excited he gets when his people swim with him. He could barely contain his excitement! He's an incredible creature, and I love seeing him enjoying life and doing what he's meant to do. He's getting so good at diving, and I was impressed by how long he stays down! I don't think an otter could ask for a better life! Thank you for sharing your adventures, Otterman! Watching Aty play makes my life better!

Wow, Aty is a pro swimmer now. I especially love his downward spins. I see Aty is giving swimming lessons now. Bravo! What makes your videos so breathtaking are the spectacular clean rivers. I’ve never seen garbage around Japan’s rivers that you’ve shown us. It shows just how conscientious that Japan is concerning their environment. The clean rivers are a plus for both of you, Otterman and Aty. Nothing toxic that can hurt little Aty! Thank you for another wonderful video. I can always count on heart smiles every time I watch Aty swimming!

Watching Aty enjoy the underwater opens a carefree realm. I forget I am on land, watching. Aty springs off a wall to propel, and I feel the *whoosh* I have felt, doing the same underwater. (I love to swim.). At one point, he is clutching a few strands of leaves or reeds? In one front paw? And I wonder what he is wanting to use them for. This was a beautiful, deep river, and his happiness is tangible. I wish we could all be an otter. I wish every otter could have a river. 🐾

From the East coast here and yeah, otters have become my antidepressant as of the last few months. Aty and Otterman bring something special to the table...the bond they share is so obvious. The best part is, the vicarious experiences come thru both Otterman and Aty (sometimes both) depending on the circumstances

Otterman and friends really live it up outside! Omichan and Lynn seem like equally fun people. The bridge view was beautiful. I probably should be concerned about how gratifying it is to watch Aty eat. It just doesn't get old. I love to watch Aty dive too. He swims so happily.

Yes, that’s what you get when you protect nature. Obviously you don’t get clean water with wanting to return back to coal, pulling out of the Paris climate accord and opening up nature reserves for oil pieplines and fracking
