I am so glad this is on RU-vid. I got a DGN subscription to watch throw pink and this but I hate that there is no way to tune in late and start at the beginning or pause. I watched it here instead. I was able to pause to fix lunch and then resume watching. I could then skip ahead more easily than on DGN too. The FF control on DGN is cumbersome. I tap it and it doesn’t always go. I am somehow missing it. It also stays on the screen.
@@theschmoe9140 thank you. I am glad they have at least split it. I was able to watch the front 9 from the start yesterday while the back 9 was still being played. I want more of course before I will pay to watch. I can usually wait for post production but when my favorite player (Val) is competing and in the woods, I had to watch ASAP.
It's her consistency on drives plus a great putting game. When she drives she's not trying to smash it the farthest, she's just playing the best option. And when she makes a mistake she doesn't stress about it and falls back on her putting to manage Par.
Congratulations to all the ladies. Amazing performance from Kristin, well deserved. Also, I'd like to suggest that come the day (not too soon though) that Ohn retires from playing, she needs a seat in the commentary box. She'd be a great color commentator!
I hope that the random shots of people dealing with an emotional end doesn’t come common practice. DGN did it at the MVP open and they did it again where the player (keeping it spoiler free) clearly went out of the epicentre of the finish celebration to go through their emotions in private and now the DGN has captured it for the world to see. Yes it is live sports and the players are at the level of the sport that being on camera is something you have to accept, but the camera jump to that wasn’t warranted
It's part of the story, the people need to know how the stars feels to grow the sport even more. Not that i Like it but thats why... I personaly would have preferred a tie since they were ONLY 4 and that makes the feeling of "Second place is first loser" pass down to number 4 :'(
@@Iliyena87 I get the storyline, but this was someone that removed themselves from the situation. If they want a conclusion to her story today, there’s post round interviews. Every sport has then after huge losses
@@angieb8941 Invading would have been the cameraman walking up to her. The cameraman was just standing in an in-bounds, playable area of the course. That's not invasion of privacy. This is sports and the emotions that come with it.
I am glad it was all humans with two X chromosomes. I hope they change the eligibility rules for next year. I will try to tune out of they don’t. Every muscle in the male body is better designed for power. The disc golf throw uses core muscles. Stronger core means more distance and also means throwing slower discs for more control and getting same distance as someone with weaker core throwing faster disc. The current guideline requires taking drugs to reduce testosterone. They used to require a value below 10 but that is still at least twice as much as a bio female. A bio female can’t make up that core strength by being born genetically gifted or by hitting the gym. A study had women use testosterone cream on their thighs and it raised their levels and improved performance compared to a placebo group. That higher T level makes a difference even if it is less than before hormone therapy. It is possible that removal of the testicles will make more difference because testosterone will drop to near zero. However, that doesn’t change bone structure advantages. In my opinion, disc golf is a sport that should not allow transgender females to compete against biological females.
