Match rate for IMG in USMLE was 58% last year. In India there are 28,000 pg seats in total including govt and private, clinical and non clinical. Last NEET PG there were nearly 1.8 lakh applicants. Making the number of candidates getting seats around 15-16%. Much higher chances of getting a speciality in USMLE.
Also the average pay for USA is around $48k - 60k According to different states and universities and specialties.. like for eg it’s more in California then South Carolina .. and More in derma than Int medicine..

The steps alone cost about 9-10 lakhs including everything , don’t take just 1100$ exam fee into account , I have included visa fees , travel costs and the remaining 7-8 lakhs are for your Usce , one month internship in USA .
No country can pay you like Usa anyhow being a doctor bucks doesn't be a matter! One should have interest being a doctor rather than for money! Anyhow usa pays u a lot! You would be on the top 1 % earning workers!

A very interesting comparison. Although, i am not sure if usmle is more clinically oriented than plab is. Also, i didn't fully understand what PG fees are: being a foreign medical graduate, am i required to pay any PG fees?
kidus arega And usmle And Plab both are clinically orientated but I find usmle to be more inclusive and logical based questions whereas in Plab some things need to be crammed down and then some clinical knowledge is needed

Can PLAB be compared with USMLE? Since there's MRCP exam to get in PG program and PLAB is just for license to practice in UK as UG doctor!! Plz clear me if im wrong. And thanks a lot for super helpful video ☺
While doing plab we will be under NHS right? So how come the tution fee.. ? Or is it for mrcp all steps? Does this fee for plab mean annual fee or will it cover for all.the 7/8 yrs?

It means mini internship , you will perform various procedures under the subject you r interested in . Yes the exam doest cost that much and additional cost is for 1-6 months clinical experience.
