Just in the time when i needed much guidance about this PLAB ! You have beautifully presented the article and given an insight about the topic ! Thank you so much and please do keep uploading different videos !
Thank you so much monu di! I am really grateful to you. You might have worked really hard for this information. Thank you so much again for such a clear cut video. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much for this video ! Really explained very well :D Please do a video about MRCP, planning to take that as my post graduate exam :) Thanks again so much !
Pls can you explain the "Run Through Training" and the "GP/ST" more? 1. Do you mean if one wants to Specialize in Radiology, one can do the "Run Through Training" directly after FY2? 2. Do you also mean if one wants "Family Medicine," one can apply for it directly after FY2? 3. Is FY2 compulsory to pass through if one has completed Internship and Plab 1&2 or its just optional?
Hello.. I generally see almost all your videos it's really majestic and great to see that you guys are been giving a good and optimistic way to the students to gaze the eye on their future, It's really a privilege for me and other students as well that you are giving the golden information to us about almost everything which indeed every Medical Student is searching for, I am also pursuing my MBBS from Ukraine, Dnipro.. Thanks a lot.. Actually I have a query that as you said that PG in UK is paid, so do we need to pay the tuition fees there while doing the Core training till Speciality Training (till ST 3) ? If yes then how much it would be? Can you please tell me ? I will be your thankful.. And in case if we have to pay for the core training and speciality training then whatever we will earn there will be enough to pay the tuition fees as well as covering our monthly expenses like ACCOMODATION (Living), fooding, transport etc..?
Does this 1 year of internship means the one year regular internship that a graduate does after clearing his final year or is it one year more other than the regular internship?
Hey thank u so much for the video :) It was really well explained. I just have a small doubt. So in the end you mentioned that PG is paid...what do we get on going completing the speciality training then? Not a PG?
First of all, amazing videos. You really simplify it,which I couldn't find anywhere else online. One question, If i wanted a seat in say, surgery, what do the program directors see before they accept you? for eg: In US, they will look at usmle scores, clerkships, research, etc
Rohan Vashisht they look for your research papers if any , if you have enough time and money , go for electives in uk , also go for some international conferences for surgery . Everything is counted .
Hii!! Firstly, thank you so much for the vedio. You made me clear. I’m planning to do my internship in UK after my final year. Is plab needed for that too!?
Hi mam, thanks for the wonderful info!! After mbbs, one year internship in India and passing plab, is it that we have to work as a junior doctor for 3 years in UK before getting into masters? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
PG is doctor under training for speciality Consultant is proffesor or doctor in charge or practising doctor in medical school mostly Also Consultant are specialist completed their degree
Thank you so much for this clear explanation of the whole pathway to UK. This video is so precious. I have one question. Even though we have to complete our medical degree before facing PLAB 1, can't we even book our PLAB 1 seat before getting the degree? I'm asking this because of the limited number of slots available for PLAB 1. Does the process of making the GMC account require the degree certificate?
Mam you said the duration of internship(foundation years) in UK is 2 years. But in India internship duration is just 1 year. So, Do Indians need to do 1 more year internship in UK or can they directly apply for UK PG entrance exam after clearing PLAB?
Simran Kaur Chani no you don’t need to do one extra year , it’s one way ,2 years in UK or 1 year in India - your wish . Also there is no pg exam , you can get admission directly (it is paid) and MRCP is for job !
First of all, very informative video...so good job! But Monu, recently Core training (CT) is probably getting replaced by Internal medicine training (IMT) for 3 years. Kindly give your valuable insights/views in this...maybe I could be wrong also
@@MedSnaps But as per as the webinar of Joint Royal colleges, it's probably going to start from 2019 itself whereas UKMLA will initiate from 2022 onwards
What if i do only 1.5 month for medicine and 2 months for surgery and rest for other subjects (total 365 days) in internship...is it ok ? Or should i do extra 1.5 month in medicine and extra 1 month for surgery.. Pls guide me Thanks. I also done my mbbs from Ukraine.😊
Hello ma'am, Thank you for such a wonderful video!!! You have painstakingly cleared many doubts regarding the PLAB with this video.. I just have a few queries... 1. Once we get a job after completing the PLAB 2, do we get some degree/course certificate like MD/MS in India?? 2. How do we get selected into the three main disciples you described into your vid?? 3. And if one completes PG in India and goes for MRCP in UK, what exactly is MRCP and how PLAB is a better way?
It is a very much useful video about plab.... But I want to make a correction in run through course... Two times Paed is there... You hav cleared all my doubts about Plab... Thank u so much
Ma'am, So in order to do PG (like M.S. ortho) in UK after completing MBBS in India, should we write PLAB or anyother exam. And can we do PG in UK after mbbs in india.
Thanks for all the information . You were amazing ma'am I am concerned about the pay in UK after completing 2 years I'm already making around 1.8L inr here with my UG degree I'm trying to push further and settle abroad I'm 26 I'd be looking forward to your response ma'am thanks
Mam I'm just confused whether plab is for working as a doctor in UK or for doing PG? If it is for pg then HOW MANY YEARS will it take for an MBBS student who has completed his/her internship to complete his PG in UK? Please reply
Thanks a lot for this information .please make a video, from which books we should study for plab.simply tell us more about books for preparation about plab during MBBS
Very concisely explained video I just have one question that after giving plab 1 and 2 and doing 2 years of core training and getting into specialty training of 6 years then I don’t have to give mrcp or do i still have to give mrcp
I must say this is the most informative video i hv ever watched on YT regarding plab. Thank you so much. Can you give estimated price of books mentioned in your video ?
Hello, the information you have given is so useful and would definitely have helped a lot of people, the amount of work you have put on this is commendable Thanks It would be really helpful if you could upload a video on mrcp, everything about it Thank you
Thankyou for the explanation ma'am. I'm currently in 2nd yr of Mbbs. By the time I'll eligible be eligible for the exam maybe UKMLA would take over. What changes in pattern should I be prepared for?
Hey, thank you very much for this seriously! Very helpful for someone like me who didn't know anything about that. So may l ask what PR and PG are that you talked about at the end? And can't l be working in family medicine as a consultant without having to study almost 10 years? I would much appreciate if you could help me! Thanks in advance
The core training, speciality training, run through training would be held in the same hospital or do we have to undergo training in different hospitals?
Thank you so much maam for taking the time to do this. I was told the Ct/St is not recognized in India... pls guide me on that. Also I read that even if we pass plab, getting selected for CT is uncertain?
thank you so much for such in-depth explanation on these topics, i bate it must have taken you so much time to do research, ps my question to you is as I am studying in Russia but my nationality is russain, do i still need to do internship in back my home country as course in Russia is of 6 years so I guess they already cover internship in 6 years course and also talking of job if I will show them that I am doing job in Russia by showing income, is it possible to get through lab exam ? thank you so much, looking for your response
