great video! this is very interesting and makes sense in thinking long term. but as you pointed out most information is focused on short term thinking-not that that is bad but from this can assume it's not the full or most beneficial pov. and the synchronized cycles of hair is what am noticing as i hit one year of therapy. thanks for sharing!

Hey, I was wondering if you would cover the subject of finasteride changing one’s hair texture? I’ve noticed mine going from super curly, coarse and frizzy to now being slightly wavy, fine, and very soft and shiny. This is also how it grew before I hit puberty, meaning dht is affecting the curl pattern and texture of a hair follicle.
@Kyle_Bu
@Kyle_Bu Месяц назад
Probably I could. But that doesn't seem like finasteride's doing. Maybe the hairs just don't have the same width when you first start treatment because they're recovering.
@natureboy6268
@natureboy6268 17 дней назад
hair starting to become more curly, frizzy and sometimes feel more coarse/brittle/dry is actually an early sign of androgenic alopecia. I would potentially take this as a sign of finasteride working and some healthier hair is coming in. Something to asking your treating doctor about.

I haven't shed a hair since when I became a Norwood 6 .when I got my FUT in the late 90's that hair looked good during the first 15 years and than started thinning out as well .now that I found these you tubers who told me the combination of things that work I got 90 % of my hair back .I threw in the kitchen sink in the first 2.5 years and now just use finasteride, oral minoxidil .topical minoxidil a 15% strength that has alzeic acid, caffeine, finasteride in it .I also use RU -48851 and try to micro needle once a week .sometimes I miss ,but everything is great .I never would have imagined that I would get my hair back as I have been bald for 3 decades

I am using minoxidil 10% topical with finasteride topical as well, before the 5% minoxidil did not work I also experienced with topical fin but no significant results in my opinion. Can 10% minoxidil make the difference I also put tretinoin cream before i apply the solution, its been 3 months but still no improvement do I have to wait longer or maybe I'm just a non responder.

Can you do a video of dutastride long term effects? I hear it blocks like a type 1 thing which is in your brain and fin only blocks type 2, it sounds kind of concerning but I'm still very tempted to use dut
@Demiurge66
@Demiurge66 Месяц назад
I am on dut and 5% topical minox honestly I don't feel any different then I do day to day, I had a headache the first two days on dut and it went away. Since I'm on test I've been battling acne and my acne has been under control, I haven't had a break out or major pimple since being on dut.
