If you look at the crowd, those who look like they're in their 20's are the only ones singing along because we're the only ones old enough to remember how great Finch is.

You can tell that Finch weren’t really “into” it during this show; or shall I say, the lead singer seemed to be just going through the motions, and lacks the emotional power and impact from the earlier days “when they were hungry” etc. He seemed bored, haha! Like, “Yeah... Ok guys... We’re Finch. Thanks for coming. Enjoy your day.” Then, poof. I suppose after playing the song a million times, perhaps they’d run their course. Their live shows in the early days were incredible!
I’d also appreciate some elaboration on this Did he quit or something? He’s singing pretty off key through this performance… is that what you’re referring to?
Finch is one of the best bands on this whole tour. One of the bands I grew up listening to. Nate still has one of the best live screams I've ever heard regardless of if it is an off singing day or not. FINCH FOR LIFE!
Even with the weird side bands and everything they all had individually going on. They are still on fire. From finch and senses fail , from autumn to ashes, and tbs, bloc party are my ultimate from this era & genre
Im from Philippines many from this crowd don't know how f***in great this band is. I remember when my brother play this song to his cellphone and i asked him what band is this and he said Finch. After that the next morning i downloaded it and its was one of my favorite band.
Man, I saw Finch in 2002, in Indianapolis at a Knights of Columbus, right after "What it is to Burn" was released.. wasn't even a Ton of people there.. It was sooooo Goooood!! They played Great and Nates voice was so good and his screaming was second to none!! This Warped Tour show must have been super Early and on a shitty stage, cause there was NO ONE watching them!! So Crazy, they were on top of the Emo/Screamo/Punk Scene at one time..
Im a filipino. I wish im with the crowd. Im 20 and still listening to them. I first heard them when my brother play our casette. And i used to listen to their songs. It boost me, motivates me and if i were in this fucking awesome crowd i will definitely make my way to go insane. Dude theyre in front of you but you didnt do anything ! You missed the chance!
Finch is the ultimate old school!! I remember when they released there first album we skipped school and went to he record shop just to get it first and then the video showed up and the rest is history still a fan . 2023 class of 007!!!
One of my favorite drive thru records era bands. Showed up to their show at the Emerson in 2004 and it was sold out. The boys took an old McDonald’s receipt and wrote me and my buddy dans name on it and handed to the door guy and said “this is our list”! We even got shirts signed for free that Randy drew on. I miss that time in my life lol.

Im so excited these guys are back and in the studio! If this was 10 years ago, they probably would have had the biggest crowd out of all the bands. Also the reason why the vocal performance wasnt excellent is because these guys have been on a very long break. Back in the day they were sick live, but this performance wasnt bad at all. Anyways, glad to see these guys back!
Tarik Asan Exactly. The song in this group were the anthem to my young adulthood. I covered these guys in the band I was in as I'm sure so many others did when they were hot
@@Gloth_Sang they constantly fought, how many times did they break up? 4? 5? I remember they broke up after say hello to sunshine, they released that mini ep on their site with 4 demos i think? Then they made Back to Oblivion and after that they broke up, nate released bunch of demos, rest of the band did the same. I kinda hope they never comback, because i know they are competent musicians and they will release good music if they come back together, but they will break up again and make me sad and dissapointed again.
Damn, I remember when I heard this song on the radio 4 some years ago and I instantly fell in love with it. Too bad their not coming to my date, I want to hear them play it live

I understand the struggle with his voice.. If the volume of the instruments is overbearing and everything is just flooding together you're more less straining the hell out of your voice to match it. I know for a fact that dude can sing like crazy but everything has to be right to where he can relax his voice and make a better performance. Good job Nate take care buddy.
Still jamming in 2024!! ♡♡ and so happy that finch is back!!! I forgot how se*Y & awesome nate is, & my love for finch. Excited to finally see them in the next month or so, because honestly ive bought 2 tickets to see them before & they cancelled both of those shows. Ya don't think i didn't forget Finch,!! Damn, thats sad, i use to play shows with these guys when I was in this band Nobody Wins.. I remember everyone being so jealous of them and Static lullaby for getting deals and having such awesome careers. It would be so weird to play songs meant for teenagers at our age now haha.
Nate's screams were terrible here. And what the hell was up with the crowd? There were like 20 people! This band is so amazing and deserves a lot more credit.
David Brannon I was pissed about the broadcast myself. The worst part was hearing the beginning of Grey Matter when We The Kings finished. All I know is that I can't wait to see them kill it this Sunday.
Now they're older and not so powerful and energetic as before, but the skill's sharper than before. Nate have some problem with his tone but still epic as before!
Still a Fan of Finch since 2002.. Although, I'd say Hell will Freeze over before these guys ever play together as Finch again lol.. Definitely listening in April 2023!!
I remember listening to this back in like 06/07 and man it brings back good vibes. This, Underoath, the used, afi, anti flag, Thursday, brand new. Damn just a few of the greats
+Taylor Parker Glad someone still loves Finch. In the Philippines, only a selected few remembers them. I still blast What it is to burn (album) on my car stereo loud af with my windows down. I agree, the crowd is pretty mellow for such an awesome band but I would've gone wild despite the size. I'd be jumping around and jamming like no one's business

Yeah most early bands like these guys didn't do a whole lot of warming up if any back in the day. So his voice isn't holding up. That's why if you listen to guys like Phil Collins or Taylor Swift who did warm up and took proper lessons they still got it
Damn it Nate! You're arguably the best post-hardcore vocalist of the 21st Century! Stop looking chubby and like you have trouble singing! Hit your damn notes like you have all the years before! I'll attribute it to too much touring... Goddamn I'm excited about their new cd.
if you watch the yellowcard - only one video from this very same show, at the beginning you'll see a sign that reads "you mosh, you crowd surf, you get hurt, we get sued, no more warped tour" that would explain the unenthusiastic crowd
