Something I like to do. Was in the scrap pile about to get crushed.

I clean them up first. Clean out the carb, clean or replace the filter, any greasing sharpen the blade, check the wheels fix or replace them as needed ( you can even regrind threads into tires sometimes as new tires are $15-$25 each) and clean or replace the spark plug.
Used mowers don't sell for a ton so can't put to much into them. Plus everyone likes to shot low ball offers from their keyboards for no reason. Ones with bags sell for more $$ and faster. if they are self propelled sell quick and easier.
These were mde a lot better then the new mostly plastic and made in China junk. Good luck getting parts for these newer mowers.
