Lots of games have that one section that is just absolutely boneheaded game design. This section takes the cake in a way that I havent seen in a long time. How the fuck are you supposed to find a path to safety when you can't see a fucking thing, and Caz runs and swims slower than any character I think I've ever played as. Thank you for this video, because after spending over an hour drowning over and over, I was about to rage quit.
Thank you so much!! This helped me a lot and I only needed to watch it once to understand! It's honesty not as hard as people are saying and certainty doesn't warrant the insults they are throwing toward the devs. Constructive criticism is fine, as always, but I applaud all the work they did on this game. It's really amazing.
This entire part is garbage. Really the movement in the whole game is bad and not because it's bad - because there's actually competent movement - but because at random, movement is incompetent. The part before this where you have to pull yourself along and use the railings underwater is the first time you swim in the game and it does very little to teach you what you're doing wrong, which is the only reason they put in an achievement for drowning - no one would have ever died to drowning in the game without that one 400 foot section of swimming with no way to get air. Not only that but later in flooded engineering, the yellow bars to use on the floor to propel yourself actually work, unlike this section. The part where everything floods isn't even bad by comparison. The amount of time before you drown is also completely abitrary. Right before Raddick's final chase sequence, you spend like 55+ consecutive seconds underwater and don't drown just because the game says so.
i fcking hate this 💩 game where you have to turn up brightness just to see where your going and it’s still dark like 1/5 for overall performance hate this game
