There is the truck with a full suit on the road between the power plant and the park and a partial suit over by the animal park section I believe. Definitely never heard about the over pass one. Good job finding that one Ox!
+Oxhorn when i went to the over pass (before this vid was uploaded) I had to jump from the cable car to the bridge and cuz there was a guy with a fat man and I almost fell it was pretty epic but I found a gunner in t51 and xo1 I couldent g et the frames but I got the pieces.
+asum power If you have the "Penetrator" perk, you can shoot the fusion core when they are facing you. Of course, if the npc gets killed by the ejected fusion core explosion, you can't get the frame.
@@bobsort when I went there was one suit open and the other I just shot the core and got him out. Could also wait till they go to sleep and take it then. It sometimes they bug out and never sleep.
Great video but I've found more than just this. Just outside of the amusement parks behind dry rock gulch there's a truck bed, and I found a fully loaded set of X-01
Take the road west out of Dry Rock Gultch. When you get too the "T" in the road, turn north. You'll come across a flatbed truck with a full set of x-01 armor. Its guarded by some ghouls. If you follow the road north, it will turn east and take you past Safari Adventure. Standing outside the entrance, turn west and follow the wall until you get too two buildings. In one will be a power armor frame with x-01 pieces (at least there was for me. I'm lvl 109 currently).
Thanks dude, got the complete X-01 MK111 suit on the truck, nothing in the building except a repair bay, been over a year since I last played so I might have already grabbed it. Cheers again.
You can also glitch your way into the Morton residence by clicking on the power armor station through the broken window. Since the Power armor is within close proximity to the armor station your character will warp into the house and the crafting menu will open. You can then close out of the menu and explore the house.
I think what Elder Maxon was trying to say was that if you go to the left of the entrance to Safari Adventure there are two small building with a stingwing nest on them. in one of the buildings there is a suit of X01 Power armor.
Ox, another incomplete set of X-01 can be found in a maintenance shed just to the west of the southern entrance of Safari World, and at the very top of the car park north of Dry Rock Gulch. Only thing guarding it in my run were a pair of Stingwings.
Small warning with that one in the power substation, DO NOT try and retrieve it while you're doing Power Play, the raider leaders with you during that quest are more than willing to jump in if they're under fire.
You know, the gunner with a suit of power armor on the overpass where the partial x-01 is.. I stole his power core and his own suit of power armor wasn't flagged as Owned.
The same here, except it was worse. So as a warning: I watched this video, (tnx Ox, btw) and since I was close to the overpass anyway, I decided to go grab this armor. I took the elevator up to the first OP section that the tram leaves from, cleared it of gunners, and used my sniper rifle to start picking off the enemies on the OP section w/ the armor. There were 2 reg. gunners, a gunner already in power armor, and a bot, and about a minute after I started firing on them, the gunner w/ the nuka launcher runs to the back of the OP and puts on the other Power armor, so it left me screwed. They can't hit you from that OverPass before you take the tram over, but you pretty much have to head over there quickly if you want the suit, since, as mentioned above, you can't take it off a corpse. Pissed me off. Have a nice day...
I had a similar experience. As I was approaching the overpass from the south, I was fired on from above, so I took a couple of gunners out.... then once I reached the top I got two more and the bot on the way over. By the time I got there I found two dead guys wearing PA. All I could do was loot the pieces from their bodies (which was actually ok for me as I have spare frames to put them on). The PA in the house only had a helmet but it was at least X-01! I think my mistake was in not sneaking up on them. By fighting them it gave them time to don the PA. I might reload and do that bit again, just to see if I can get the PA with a frame. Thanks for the video Oxborn! :)
The gunner captain was wearing the suit...I had to get back in hidden, sneak over and shoot the core out. Had no X0 pieces so I just dumped them and used the frame for my over boss pieces
Oxhorn you missed one full set that is located outside to the left of dry rock gulch on the main road is a military convoy on the trailer is the full set of X0-1 power armor it is also near the one parking lot on the west side of the map
A quick one to add would be west of the safari zone wall. This is a partial suit located in the safari zone car park, It is hidden in a small building very close to a exterior wall of the safari zone. Thanks for this video helped me find a few more keep up the good work!
@@minecraftpe_lp9631 lmao same I was too scared to play the game correctly so I just turned on god mode, one sho kill, and infinite ammo and others haha.
Hi I`d just like to thank you for your help. i suffer from PTSD after being stabbed. i nearly lost my life as they hit a artery, anyway depression followed, and i couldnt find a way out. so bought a PS4 and found Fallout 4 and have never looked back, not just an excellent game your tutorials and your wit and humour have helped me get through this awful event, by no means am i cured but this gives me another place to be for a while, but getting there thanks to FO4 and your good self. thanks again, keep up your amazing videos.
hi oxhorn, I was wondering with all DLCs completed can you do a video of all clothing that can have ballistic weave upgrades on them and if they can have armor equipped over them please?
actually if you Google ballistic weave you can find the wiki page and gives you a very easy list. it will tell you what slot wearing that piece will "leave available"
Whilst you are lower level, if you still _see_ a power armor frame in a certain area, but if you don't _get_ it, or interact with it in any way, if you come back, level 45 and above, will the armor on it change to X-01? Or will it be the same as the first time you saw it, since you had already rendered it previously.
I went and did every variant of armor from plain to paint-job to legendary with a few exceptions bc I went for institute paint over Bos legandarys and I have 8 suits extra but just need 1 more T-51 chest and can never find it.
When I visited the Morton Residence, I did not find a suit of X-01 power armor, but something much more interesting. I've found a Brotherhood T-60 power armor torso and left leg, the leg being Knight SGT Brotherhood (BOS III) paint. So by finding this, I think it's possible, although highly unlikely, that you can get a full set of BOS III armor without having the Brotherhood as your enemy (Knight-Sergeant Gavil was the only one who wore BOS III armor). Also to note, I have not done a single Brotherhood quest for the character I found it with, not even "Call To Arms".
there is a full set of mk3 xo1 north of the T intersection that leads to the power station at a military checkpoint. may be a random spawn but there was one there for me, I'm lvl 60 something.
Question about a possible find in Nuka World. On a note from Buzz he states that he found BOS power armor. Then on the Buzz holotape he states that it’s not easy to steer and he fell off a cliff and got it stuck. Any idea where this power armor is located? Thanks
Correction; you ALWAYS get X-01 after level 28. If you did find a set of 'older' PA after you reached lvl 28, then you went past that set before you leveled up to 28, its spawned as a lower type, once it does that it doesnt change anymore. The armour spawns as you approach to within a certain radius, its not your viewing distance! Its actually slightly more. A very good way of getting about 3 full suits is by avoiding certain area's until you actually reach lvl 28. Draw a horizontal line through Diamond city and avoid going over(South of) that line until you are Level 28. Also avoid 35 court. The suit at 35 Court may suffer from a graphical glitch that makes it look like T-51. However, when you want to transfer pieces, you will note that it is categorized as X-01. Saving, then reloading solves this little bug. In the last 4 playthroughs I have used this method and all suits that I found South below the line I drew were ALWAYS X-01. The suit at South Boston checkpoint(complete one) and the sets in the abandoned shack, swamp, near the military transport in combination with the 35 court set results in 3 full sets in my garage.
Whyyyy are there x-01 suits in pre-war locations... I just can't stomach it. And no, I don't accept the "But it's not the Advanced PA the Enclave uses, it's a prototype that was in developement before the war, duh" retcon. No. And I have never even played FO 1&2 dammit.
Well there is an old vertibird crash site north east of the Anaconda map point, so all the suits of X-01 armor there could be explained away by saying that they were all on the vertibird EXCEPT for the one in the diorama, that's the one that gets me.
Yeah I think all of them can be explained in ways like enclave remnants or dead enclave recon teams, but the quantum armor just doesn't make any fucking sense and is annoyingly lore breaking.
Nuka World worked with the Army. Parts of the US Army became the Enclave. Most likely the Enclave used Nuka World as a base and maybe they even developed the X-01 there. I'm sure they would have found the quantum formula very useful.
On the overpass if your high enough level the Gunner captain will be wearing power armor if you use a steathboy and lots of quicksaves you can pickpocket the fusion core and take his armor as well
when you're facing Safari Adventure go left, you will find two tool shacks whit stingers and ant swarms. kill them, pick the lock on the bigger shack and you will find a power armour.IF IT'S NOT COMPLETE, WALK AWAY, come back later and you will find a more complete set or even a full set of power armour. P.S.-there´s a holotape in the Pack's HQ that talks about a lost power armour in a ravine somewhere, I am still looking for it. Cheers
Greetings from Blighty old boy. Only recently found your channel, came late to Fallout 4 not a play them on release kind of guy, have played all previous ones. Just wanted to add my appreciation to the doubtless countless others. Got to the endgame a while back and have been watching your vids for the excellent hints and pointers, especially settlement building and population caps. Great work mate, you've breathed new life into the game for me. Speaking of which, got to go - Spectacle Island is calling.
For me, the suit in the Morton Residence was T-60 even though I was level 50, but it was T-60f and e, and all the pieces were BOS 4-7, I don't know why this was, I hadn't even completed the game at that point so wasn't allied to the Brotherhood of Steel
I remember my first and current power armour. I went to the building court 35. I went to the top killed the bots. And opened the cage. However there's a glitch where it may be X-01 but it looks like say T-51 or T-60. That's what happened and I was scared mainly because I'd visited all the other X-01 spawn locations. But I got the X-01 and now I'm a flying tank.
Southwest from the dry gulch is a military convoy and I found a full x-01 suit on top of the trailer but look out for a lurking glowing ghoul. Second x-01 partial suit is north from the military convoy locked up inside one of the storage cabins at secure safari adventure. The lock is either master or expert to be picked.
I'm not sure how old this video is, but YOU CAN GET INSIDE FROM OUTSIDE THE WINDOW, you have to be very careful and try to activate the power armor station, which will pop you through the window as if you activated it from the inside, much easier this way. And great job on all your vids and stuff
I recently purchased and installed Fallout 4, yes I am a late-comer to the game, having played Fallout 3 years ago and loving it. Then a friend recommended your channel for tips and tricks, as well as extensive lore videos, and I am not sorry he did or that I subscribed. Your videos are wonderfully clear and very helpful for new players like me. So thank you Oxhorn. You sir are a scholar and a gentleman. 👍
Keep in mind depending on your LV cap it might be replaced with lower level armor. That was my experience but I went to Nukaworld at a much lower recommended LV so I’ve been getting molly whooped left and right lol.
Also for the one with the house with no entrances, you could exit your power armor if your in any and walk to the window close to the power armor station and hit the button to craft, since the power armor is so close to it, you will basically just be forced through the wall and than be working on that armor. :)
Yeh there's a full x-01 quantum but I thought it was vault tec, inside a glass case in one of the park zones, you need 35 glowing circitbords (don't know what they'd called) to open the glass case
i tried save scrubbing the morton house, if i quicksaved from nuka world or anywhere near the house i would get suits randomly loaded but only cosmetically. sometimes it would have arms or legs but it was always listed as whatever i found originally. I had a save from sanctuaty and if i fast traveled to nuka world then the nuka bottling plant and walked to the house, i could get random suits that were actually random. i tried about 15 saves and best i found at level 76 was all but a torso. if anyone has a better method of save scrubbing that suit let me know.
When I got up to the overpass one of the gunners was wearing the armor. I had to "negotiate" to this individual why she should let me have have the armor. While doing so I noticed the back of the armor was starting to glo red! She ejected her fusion core just before she fell down [Must ha tripped or something]. After the explosion died down she was gone and the armor with her! She just disappeared into thin air with my armor like a clumsy ninja or something! I had to reload. This time everything was playing out the same only she stepped out of the armor before the core exploded. Still she disappeared. Mysterious lady. Took the helmet with her! But I had a spare helmet from the house you had mentioned so i just moved along.
So I got all of these. I have 80+ on display in sanctuary, and today I found a weird bug. It may not be a bug, but I'd never heard of it before and can't find any mention of it. After I got the mentioned suit at the far end of the bridge, I waited for the area to respawn and came back for the other gunner that spawns already wearing power armor. Used a stealth boy to pick his pockets, murdered him and claimed the stolen frame. I then put it on display with all the rest. So after a bit I saw the overpass had repopulated again so I went back to try to steal it again. That gunner didn't spawn at all. After I went back to sanctuary, I found that he had in fact spawned in the suit I had on display so I had to steal it back off him again. Ever heard of this happening?
Lol he's like "Make sure your about level 45 to find all these X-01's." Me I'm level 39 and I am always looking for T-51 power armor to finish my collection of X-01 and T-51 I'm scavenged the all of Nuka world and all of the CommenWealth right now I have 3 partially T-51 frames and one full one being the Nuka cola one and then I have 5 full X-01 frames one being of course the Quantum X-01. For me all I really find is X-01 and I'm level 39... And on PS4.. Excuse my horible grammar I type fast and I'm on my phone...
Power Plant, Bunker with Power line top at in SE powerplant, building with stigwing hive top between Safari adventure and Dry Rock Gulch, Morton residence, Bradberton Overpass (Maybe 2, I collect 2 there, one in metal shack with PA station), Military vechiles west of dry rock gulch. You can also harvest armors in amoral combat, using deliver, critical hits and penetrator perk level 2, one or two shtos damage fusion core, just hide and wait that enemy exit core and several seconds later he/she exit power armor. That work in front in vats because penetrator perk level 2.
Are these static X-01 armors (meaning they're always X-01) or are they like all other power armors (except the full T-45A in Concord) and the model that spawns and number of pieces that spawn are based on your level? I suspect the latter. With the exception of the T-45A set in Concord, when you first enter a cell that has a power armor frame waiting to be claimed, the model and iteration of power armor on the frame and the number of pieces (bare frame to full suit) that spawn depends on your level. If you enter a cell with PA at level 1, you're likely to get no more than 1 or 2 pieces of T-45A, maybe even nothing but a bare frame, but if you run around at high level and go to all the power armor locations, assuming you've never been there before, they all will spawn as full X-01F.
I actually managed to get 2 X-01 suits one was incomplete and the other one was complete I was level 28 for the incomplete one and LvL 29 for the complete one. I should mention it was in the common wealth and I was doing the DLC automatron quests so that may have played a factor into me finding the suits before I was lvl 30 and above
2:22 can also just hit the use function on the armor station through the broken window to get inside as it ports you in for the proper cinematic angle for crafting at that station. i am compulsive about grabbing shit through windows so i definitely found that one.
Yeah I was level 44 when I went to the Morton house and I got T-60 and BOS T-60 pieces (both legs and left arm) Also my draw on the suits on the overpass were (at level 34 or 35 I think) I think 3 pieces of T-51 and 4 pieces of X-01, and despite the speed at which the gunner at the bottom of the overpass respawns, the gunners at the top and the frames have not respawned yet. My total so far is the Nuka Cola T-51 3 full suits of X-01 the partial suit of T-60 and then a pile of plates, because I was not lucky enough to get the frames to the other three suits I have encountered. (I have not found all the Star Cores to get the Quantum X-01 yet so that will be my 4th full set of X-01. I just realized that you lock in the type of power armor you are leveled for when you get close enough, so I could have gotten too close to the Morton residence when I was lower level. I might have to pull out a very old character who is much higher just to see what I get with her. By the way Oxhorn, thanks for the great videos, I had watched several in the past, but finally just subscribed here the first time I watched this video a couple days ago.
I think that the Nuka Cola power armor being T-51 instead of T-60 proves that Bethesda messed up the lore and that the BoS actually created the T-60 after the war with the Enclave. Else, why would the main BoS in the Lost Hills in Fallout 1 and 2 be using T-51 instead of T-60?
how come I'm around level 42 and I've found X-01 straight away in Nuka World (I killed Colter with the Les Fussil Terribles, T60f power armour and Piper in T60e power armour because I hadn't got the Far Harbour quest)
WARNING: The X-01 requires 35 star cores not 20 so don't be a fool and get excited and choose the open display case option like I did, because it trolls if you try and do that option (how the robots are docile towards me is because of a command on the terminal I chose when I got 20 and I hacked the robots to survive)
It's been a long time since I've seen 8045 4050 RT 51 because I'm level 141 and well I literally only find x-01 it doesn't seem as rare as used to be although when you won the Brotherhood of Steel the pridwin first comes in you have a guaranteed x-01 suit of power am I single part to spawn in
Actually you can find a full set of X-01 armor at the Court 34 building at only level 27 because you can find any X-01 pieces at level 21 or higher not 45 however you may have just been confusing the level requirement for that of the level 5 or 6 variants
I have a total of 13 X-01 suits. I am missing a total of 10 pieces, 5 of which are right legs. I keep checking with Atom Cats for parts, I've gotten 2 so far. Does anyone have more than 13 Torso's for the X-01 Armour ?. I'm thinking that there must be more.
little did Oxhorn know, you can find pieces of X0-1 power armor at lv.30 and above I was lucky enough that i got an X0-1 right arm and a MKIII X0-1 torso and gave it a jetpack, just because :]
After attacking the castle during the taking independence mission, leave before destroying the eggs and Preston will follow you everywhere until mission is complete. While in battle in Nuka world near the Nuka quantum power armor, Preston will teleport in and take it, due the fusion core already inside. Steal the power core from him and he steps out the power armor. No core collecting. Your welcome.
That is not all the Full X-01 suits you can find. I found a Military Transport just outside one of the parks with 1 full X-01 Mk.III suit. It contained 2 tanks and one of those flat-wood looking trailers. It was surrounded by ghouls.
@oxhorn you forgot one at a checkpoint.. I found it in a box car at a checkpoint pretty much right after I got to nuka world. it was a complete suit of X-01.. I also saw someone else get it in a mod review video somewhere I forget exactly.. but I know for a fact that it's vanilla bc I found it in my play through and I don't have any nuka mods
In the Morton Residence I found a full set of BOS VII T-60 armor, and I was super excited because the only other time I've seen that is on Maxson. Guess it just randomly gave it to me, though. :/
Theres one more that is scripted quite funny (had tons of fun with it). Weared by gunner in outpost (2 there has power armor, one jumps in it, other one spawns in armor and thats fun part). Shoot out core of power armor where guy spawns in and steal it. Now every time these gunners respawn, one will respawn in that armor, no matter where it is (yes even if You take ownership with console and but it in commonwealth, gunner will spawn in it XD). Other one, if You steal it, gunner who should jump in has script that says he must enter power armor first.. and if theres no power armor.. he just sits there and looks stupid.. he dont even attack lol.
2:25 easier way to do this: go to the window by the armor station and press a or whatever to teleport inside the house, by using the station. then exit the station and you're free to leave. that's how i did it.
Yeah I actually see you why now how to be level 30 to actually get nuka-world it's literally the easiest way to get an X1 suit of power armour min-1 me I have only got in one who suit of x-01 sort of power armour in the entire game if you don't buy any DLC you only find one pursuit of x-01 power armour
I was able to enter the Morton Residence without having to go through the pipe and the cellar. I just went to the window where the crafting station is and pressed "Craft". Boom! I was inside the room. Also, in that location, my power armor was a full X-01.
Actually I hacked or destroyed the robots or even both, but I used the Harpoon Gun (found in Far Harbour) to destroy the Astro-Gutsy model in those areas and I mostly used self destruct or Harpoon to the Torso (ALWAYS shoot the torso with the high powered gun)
The first time I came across the Morton's resident I didn't know about the secret entrance. So I was circling thee houseconfused. Then through the window the craft button popped up for the workstation. So I clipped through the wall and got the power armor.🤣🤣
I got a weird combination from the Morton Residence. It was a T60 left leg with a BoS 1 paint job, T51 chest and T60 left arm. Has this happened to anybody else? I was lvl 55 at the time.
I found out how to get infinite power armor frames just go to Nuka World grab all the power armor doesn't matter if they're naked or they have pieces on them then delete nuka-world the frames will stay but all the parts will be stripped so that's why when you go back into Nuka World by re downloading it the frames will be back new frames then if you want more just delete Nuka World by brain but you still have to bring it back to your settlement or home
I got superior weirdly unlucky at the Morten residents, I was level 50 and it was a almost full suit of BOS t-60 with a military helmet, and Rachel's body did not spawn too.
on't ask it's alot of g deathclaw/mirelurk/super mutant/ behemoth/gunner/fog crawler grinding, and rad scorpions. how I did it? get 60 nuke grenades and ashmaker and get some chems
Listen to this guys.If you get close to the window you can click on the “Craft” option for the power armor station, ports you inside of the building and you can get the suit.Tried doing it to see if it would work and it does.Saved you some time guys you can thank me later.
I am probably wrong .. but I am sure I found a suit of power armour sitting on a trailer or truck bed out in the open at Nuka World... It's been a while since I played but am pretty sure it was just sitting there... As I said I am probably wrong....
The strangest thing ever...Once I went into Morton residence for the power armor, I found a few BrotherHood of Steel power armor peices on the power armor.
Over that bridge, i found 2 power armor one is X-01 worn by raider boss and one T-51 worn by raider. I just sneak thru them and steal both cores and wa lahhh.. i got both power armors.
