The Evil Ending to Nuka World & Why It's Evil - Fallout 4 Lore 

An ending where I get two cool perks, some cool weapons, AND Preston Garvey won't talk to me any more? Man that's like Christmas and the 4th of July on my birthday!

I was hurt when I realized Preston would no longer be my friend. Then I thought about how much work I put in to be his friend and I realized it was an unbalanced friendship anyway. They don’t call you the Sole Survivor for nothing.

I kinda wish there was a raider version of the game-end. How hilarious would it be to have a raider invasion of the institute? It'd be a pretty interesting thing IMO. After all, what raider wouldn't jump at the chance to get an upper hand on the next score?

Before I released the Minutemen from the museum , I built up Red Rocket as a Operator Outpost and sat back and watched as they set off, with dreams of Sanctuary in their heads and hearts, only to repeatedly gunned down and driven back by my Operators. Was a very beautiful moment and a trap worthy of an overboss 😁

I agree raiders are bad but if I hear “another settlement needs your help” one more time I will happily burn the commonwealth to the ground if it gets Preston to shut up

I wish there was an option to go to the faction that you sided with in the main quest and aid them in wiping out the raiders and freeing the civilians, with members of that faction patrolling Nuka-World and its flag being hung around the settlement, just like with diamond city. And as a reward for doing this, you get to see Nuka-World returned to its former glory with the main park being cleaned up and repopulated with new residents. As of right now, there's really no reason to kill the raiders other than if you're playing a morally good playthrough.

Nuka World's ending, and entire premise is to give you, the player a chance to be chaotic evil. They established the sole survivor as a good lackey for multiple factions with each their own objectives.

The Nuka World DLC is an excellent questline for a Negan build or a Joker build. Chaotic evil or lawful evil are definitely some fun ways to go about it. You could even build your own version of The Sanctuary in one of the settlements
