Crave Nasi Lemak’s Abdul Malik Hassan will always remember Cikgu Salleh, his instructor at Singapore Technical Institute, for inspiring him to keep improving himself, and for transforming him from a shy and sullen youth to a leader in school, where this boost in confidence has made him the successful entrepreneur he is today.
Anand K., programme director of MediaCorp Oli 968, is grateful to his secondary school Tamil teacher Mrs Rajoo for shaping him from the boy with the lowest PSLE score in the class to the student who topped his cohort in the school at the GCE ‘O’ Level examination. She also inculcated in him the love for the language that is serving him well in his career. On The Red Dot steps in to help make this an extra special Teachers’ Day for the two teachers as well as their highly successful students.
