Hello Fritz, i have a 2 series. My engine light always comes on. I recently have it checked and my dealer fixed it by fixing changing the Lambda Sensor. However, the next morning, it’s on again.. What should I do? the light seems to just go back once in a while.. thank you.
Hello. I like and subscribed to your channel. I am so stressed because a triangle light came on with an exclamation mark in the middle of the triangle. I went to my idrive to see if there were any hidden messages. None. My car has also been steering a little weird in the last week. I’m taking your suggestion and I will get one of those chips along with the app. I have a 2016 535i w/a M5 package. HELP!!!!!
Hey there ! I have a steering wheel exclamation mark that goes out when I start the engine but the engine management light stays on can you tell what this means please ? I have low 6000 miles on a 2019 4 series M sport !!
I currently have a 2011 BMW, that on extremely cold mornings. I go to start it and absolutely nothing happens, except a red upside down horizontal coil icon comes up. Turns off in about 5 seconds then the car starts on it's own? Does my bmw have a block heater? Someone told me when this issue happens, the computer is telling you the block needs a second to start warming up the block? Is this true?
I'm getting an icon on my dash I can't find in the owner's manual! If you think you have an answer and want a pic of the icon? Please yell at me right away and I'll send you a pic of it. I'm gonna try to explain this icon as simple as explaining the shape of a circle ok so, bare with me 👍 Picture a basic square that looks exactly like a basic muffler, with a pipe coming out of both sides. Now it's a yellow icon so, if it was red . I'd be in a Church praying right now its not going to be a 5-10k nightmare expenditure🫣 There's more though, the icon doesn't come on till maybe 5-10min of driving. Then next to it the yellow ⚠️ stays on? Other thing is, the square stick figure muffler icon has a line that goes diagonally through the center of the icon. Half the icon is filled with little yellow dots and the other half is empty. I assumed it was telling me my DEF was running low? Here's the kicker! Before I dropped my car off for the oil change, I filled the rear DEF tank cause I didn't want to chance running it dry and possibly putting the car in limp mode! I'm almost done, I promise. But, I have to tell you the biggest confusing kicker. My Mechanic told me my rear DEF TANK was empty??? I said how's that possible?? I just filled it the day before? I didn't know but, he informed me there's a reserve DEF tank in the engine bay,Wich was full???? He said for some reason my car is throwing 2 codes that won't clear? I have a K&N ram air cone filter kit and another mechanic told me that once I installed that. I'm always going to have a yellow check engine light because the MAF sensor gets a little crazy trying compensate for all the extra flow? My biggest concern though is this, for some reason my DEF system doesn't seem to be regenerating? You don't think it could be an issue with the DPF not getting hot enough to work properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
