We will install Lidarr, connect it to qBittorrent and Prowlarr on a TrueNAS Scale server.
Lidarr is a utility use to find music albums and songs.

for the record, the "Lossless" under quality profile option at 11:21 means you can tell it to search for only a hi-fi quality... which it found by default if you look at 12:34 in your FLAC files it found. this quality is near CD quality or better and is uncompressed, like an mp3 or mp4 file would be. great video and just what I needed to know to add music to my Scale server.

Is there anything that allows automatic song additions in Lidarr by looking at your current music collection? Lidarr sucks for finding new music.

You need some private trackers and private indexers, you'll have zero delays and a wealth of media available. Aside from that, I'm glad you have the balls to post this video 😂😂😂

Can you use this for movies as well, or just music ? And, will my ISP break a nut for downloading Judas Priest like they would have back in the 90's? Looks interesting.

Lidarr is nice and all, but how great audio streamng has become, services like Tidal are much better than the effort of doing this... However, I wish there was a better/updated working method in allow Lidarr to call a service that can download directly from Tidal. Tidal-GUI with Lidarr-extended used to be great... but I dont think they funtion anymore..

Tidal GUI still functions. It is regularly updated, even when it does go down it's usually only temporary. I've never used Lidarr but I'm not interested in torrenting music. It's usually too messy and quality control sucks. Thanks for suggesting Lidarr-extended I'm going to check it out now.
