👉 In this playlist, you will learn what the distance and midpoint formulas are and how to apply them. The distance formula is derived from the Pythagorean theorem given the coordinates of two points. We will use the distance and midpoint formula to not only determine the distance and midpoint between two points but to also use this information for figures on a plane. Lastly, we will explore how to determine the endpoint given one endpoint and the midpoint.

Shortcut. Find difference from endpoint to midpoint, -3 to 1 is +4. 1 to 7 is +6. Apply to midpoint. 1+4=5 and 7+6=13
