I appreciate that very much! I always encourage viewers to subscribe but that's always a challenge. Most of them don't which doesn't help the channel at all. Either way, thank you for watching! 💯🙏🏻
Your DC5 is Awesomely Clean. Can tell you have put in Tons of Work and are Rightfully proud!!!!! My 40-something Daughter and I have jointly owned an 03 RSX-s since new. She drove it until 2011 as her Daily and maintained it totally Factory and never abused. I took it over then with about 80 k original miles and over the next couple of years began to upgrade it Cosmetically and Mechanically, but never abused. Was resprayed the factory Night Hawk Black, added some Carbon bits and then had a Fully built K20/24 All Motor installed. The styling of the DC5 has remained Fresh in my Mind and the Sound of VTech at 8k never grows old... Since this one was new, I’ve also owned a number of Bimmer Ms and a Porsche 997 Coupe, but the Acura Experience still ranks Highly.. Thanks for listening........
I bought mine new in 02, the original engine now has 452k miles, it only goes through 1/2 quart of oil between oil changes and doesn’t smoke, water pump, even the radiator hoses are still factory, the transmission is the weak link
thanks for the tips dude. gonna go look at an 03 type s tomorrow. I was hit while driving my beloved blue 04 type s a couple weeks ago and she got totaled. Loved that car so much that I gotta get another!
Oh no! Happy to see you are safe in that accident. I don’t blame you at all! Lol it’s a great platform. You can visit my store if you like, I sell many parts. www.DC5RParts.com wish you the best on finding a new DC5!
Got my type-s 7 years ago for $2k with an engine that needed work and owner in need for cash. just replaced some stuff and still hasnt broken down on me since then
Took me 3yrs to find my Dc5...it’s my 2nd one I’ve owned and with my experience I gotta say just be careful with the Transmission...although it’s a great transmission it’s also very sensitive
@@kingdavid2363 they sell the Base model in auto & 5spd transmission but lacks power. The Type is only offered in 6spd manual with a lot more power from factory. All transmissions are good.
Thank you for such detailed information!! I really like this Acura, the design, the colour, the engine & the whole interior!! I want a right side Honda though but exactly the same, it's the 4th generation☝😌✈️🇯🇵☀️🏁🥇 & I will post it to my page, thank you again for this video!!😊
2002 and 2003 U.S.A. models don't have heated side view mirrors. The 2005 - 2006 Type-S models K20Z1 engines have about 10 more horsepower because they have DC5 Type R camshafts. Also the final drive on a 2005 - 2006 Type-S was upgraded to the same as a Type R but they don't have an l.s.d.
Thank you brother. I appreciate the nice words. Hahaha I feel you! I know but I rather keep it private. 💪🏻😎 Some people get their DC5 stolen from YT alone 🙄
DC5R.Parts yeah man, that’s true. For my area (SoCal) anything under $8k is either riced, wrecked, or total race car spec lol. I’ve been looking for months. Would you trust an all OEM high mileage RSX-S? I see them for around $4000-$5000 but the interiors show age with high miles..
I'll probably be hitting you up soon on some headlights. I'm still not sure if I want to sell mine. I'm about to drop an Android in the STI though. Hit me up man!
DC5R.Parts sorry of it came out wrong your rsx is very clean and tastefully modded, I was talking about those kids that bag it, put on ugly rims and just ultimately rice it out
Point of view noted! I agree with you. Unfortunately these cars got cheaper and accessible to a younger trendy crowd. Today's camber, is yesterday's spinner rims. 🤯
How weary of rebuilt titles should I be for these cars? The carfax I saw didn't list any repairs which makes me assume it was done independently, just curious
Carfax won't display repairs as far as collisions. It will only say "accident reported" "rebranded title issued" "vehicle serviced" If you're worried about it. Just buy a clean title but a aware... Even clean titles have reported or non reported accidents. Have the car inspected. 👌🏻
I bought a 2004 04 rsx type s from a dealer like a year gor for 6500 nice paint clean interior any 1 knows if i a good price for 1 of this I enjoy driving this car more thmy challanger
If the price and conditions are right. Where you buy it doesn’t really matter. Although a dealership will have some initial warranty by law depending on the state
Opinion on a 2004 integra base model selling for 7000usd with 70k miles??? Seen it at a dealership but it’s an automatic. Any opinions on automatic integras and is it worth it???
@@DC5RParts im from australia so its kinda hard to find any type s/r models here. There are a few type r but they are heavily modified with like 200k miles. Is there a reason why you wouldnt recommend it? do automatics has known issues?
They are great for commuting and gas saving, fun driving around town. no really negatives at all. But if you looking for a lot of performance, it will not be it.
@@trapsoulx old comment but if you're still by any chance looking for a DC5 I got my Type S completely stock in really good condition in 2020 for 12k AUD. The current market for these cars is going only going up so if you can find one in half decent shape for around 10 - 12 grand I'd say go for it
Good for u. You have a mint Type S. A lot of what u said is not true. Check for rust, on a Japanese car?! Try not to gloat so much. Mint loll. Probably you paid very little for it but you wanted the best one at the lowest price. When I like a car, I buy it. No bullshit. Still a Type S though
@@DC5RParts wasn't expecting a reply. I still have my DC5 and will be doing a ton of work to it. Would be nice to connect and run a few things by you. Let me know
Sometimes owners lose the original title so they request a duplicate. Is it coming from the DMV in ORIGINAL paper? Is it a copy from the original owner selling it to you? If the answer is yes. I would buy it. Take pictures of his driver's license. Just in case.
@@aldo7962 It's after 3pm where I live. It's a shame anyone thinks mines is a word but people talk or type words that don't exist because they heard someone else say it. 🇺🇸
Why remove OEM badges to front like it's ACTUALLY an Integra? That's an RSX type S, Not an Integra type S. Lots of Hispanics do that. I've seen a Nissan Maxima with a VTEC badge. I should've taken a picture. Lots of Mexicans PAY to ruin their car. It's funny. I'm Mexican by the way. Let's have some class. With class, comes style.
