As a literary translator and writer, I am pretty clear that my highly skilled worth is not valued by society. I would be better off financially making a RU-vid Channel and making ASMR videos. How sad.
We all do need to adjust and be vigilant as technology improves and replaces some specialized skills we have. I would imagine your expertise is still highly valued in higher education circles, perhaps writing stories with historical references or creating online learning in your field? I'm just brainstorming. Your idea of creating content and putting it out there is a great side hustle idea!
